My first ever and only thread I posted on FR was just prior to leaving for Navy Chaplain school back in 2004. Today is a 2nd (likely last) bookend post with a thank you for your prayers and support for our service members. I started out as a Marine infantryman back in 1992. Hello everyone. This is my first ever post so forgive me if I mess something up! This Saturday I will be leaving for Rhode Island to train as a Navy Chaplain. After that I will be stationed on the USS Vella Gulf in Norfolk, VA. I ask you to pray for me and my family as I will be leaving behind my wife and 2 small boys for the Summer. We are excited to be serving God in this way and hope and pray that He will bless our ministry.
