U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., responded to what she called a “bad faith report” on Tuesday after the Biden administration announced plans for a Columbia River Task Force. The White House’s announcement followed a report from the U.S. Department of the Interior on some of the impacts of federal dams on native tribes throughout the Columbia River Basin. However, according to the federal agency, it was also “based on limited sources.” The Department recognizes this report does not tell the complete story of the impacts that the Columbia River System and other federal dams have on the Basin Tribes,”...

Arizona Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema and Nevada Rep. Susie Lee introduced legislation this week aimed at enabling $45 million in Bureau of Reclamation funds to be used for helping the Hoover Dam. Proponents of the "Help Hoover Dam Act" say it would cut regulations and allow the bureau to tap into the Colorado River Dam Fund to support efforts related to the dam's upkeep. Ed Gerak, Executive Director of Irrigation and Electrical Districts of Arizona, said in a statement that the funding could help mitigate possible price increases for electricity. This bill will allow the Bureau of Reclamation to use...

Let’s face facts; some people are getting richer off the removal of the Klamath River dams. Glen Spain member [formerly] of Klamath River Renewal Corp. ‘KRRC’ board and fisherman’s advocate said “Economics Not Salmon Is the Reason PacifiCorp is Removing the Dams” It is now estimated by some experts that the total direct cost for the Klamath River dam removal project, will reach $800-million dollars, not the $450-million cost estimate projected over tens years ago. And then we have the costs related to the liabilities that are already arising from what is seen by many as an ill-fated project. According...

For over 100-years after the first dam was installed (Copco 1 Dam) and over 60-years after Iron Gate Dam was installed, there was nevertheless a decent run of Salmon and steelhead in the Klamath River, even with all of the changing ocean conditions, climate change, and OVERFISHING by both indigenous people and others. Any fishing guide on the Klamath River below Iron Gate Dam would attest to the fact that fishing was great. Therefore, this is the ONLY relevant Question: Is the deaths of millions of wildlife (mammals, birds, fish, etc.) and the collapse of an entire ecosystem, on top...

Reduxx has confirmed that a petition has been received by the Washington County Juvenile Court and charges are now pending in the case of a transgender student caught on film violently attacking a female student at Hazelbrook Middle School in Tualatin, Oregon. Last night, a viral clip began circulating on social media depicting a trans-identified male assaulting a female student without provocation. The clip was initially uploaded to Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) by Ben Edtl, the Republican nominee for the Senate district in which the school is situated. Edtl later uploaded additional clips purporting to show the same student...

This group of unhinged, ignorant leftists posted the most disgusting comments you have ever read. Their hate for people they know nothing about is terrifying. They want conservatives dead. Brought to light is the arrest of Stacey Lynn Stephens who walked into the capitol with her mother. She is pictured at the link. Another elderly harmless woman.

Genaro García Luna, once the architect and public face of Mexico’s bloody war on its powerful criminal groups, was convicted on Tuesday in a New York courtroom of betraying his country and colleagues by taking millions of dollars in bribes from the violent drug cartels he was meant to be pursuing. The guilty verdict, which came after three days of deliberation in Federal District Court in Brooklyn, was a stunning downfall for Mr. García Luna, a jut-jawed former law-enforcement officer who was so enmeshed in his country’s security establishment that he was often described as the J. Edgar Hoover of...

The serial entrepreneur says the surge of illegal immigrants at the U.S.'s southern border is an urgent problem that must be tackled. This subject is immigration, considered one of the strengths of the Republican Party, particularly in the South. He just used an article from The New York Post on a recent news conference by Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, to sound the alarm. Adams added that New York was dealing with an "unprecedented influx" of busloads of migrants. He repeated that the city’s shelter system was nearing its "breaking point." At least 16,600 migrants have arrived in...

The swamp is thick on Free republic. Trump was the best president in our lifetime! He was the man we prayed for, for decades! He picked some bad people. HE HAD NOTHING ELSE TO CHOOSE FROM! Not in D.C. NOT in 2016. Let me remind you, 90% of you supported Bush no matter what damage he did to this country! SO DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT POOR JUDGEMENT! I got kicked out of here when I would no longer buy his crap! Like AMNESTY! I'M A DEAD WOMAN. But at least I got 4 years of a president who actually...

Residents of the Santa Rosa III sector in the Santiago Oeste municipal district expressed their outrage after two women claimed to have been raped and beaten by several men of Haitian nationality, prompting the community to expel all Haitians from the town. Concern and impotence grew among the locals of that part of Cienfuegos as the women who had been victims of the horrendous sexual assault by the Haitians narrated the details of everything that had happened in tears. “They entered my house at 4:00 a.m. last Sunday, broke a board, then entered through the back door, and then they...

How did we come to inhabit a society in which the government itself continually carries out psyops against the populace? As you read this, keep in mind that Biden has already tried to form his 'Ministry of Truth'. It's common knowledge that governments, including ours use propaganda on foreign soil. It helps win wars. This largely came about in 1948 with the Smith-Mundt act which prohibited our government from ever using such biased, misleading, if not downright untruthful messages on the American public. This is what formed the Voice of America and other venues. This movement toward propaganda is explained...

Another beautiful, conservative area is being destroyed by wildfire. Much of the problem is mismanagement and much of it is arson fueled by ignorance and hatred from the left. They like fire! On Sunday, July 31, 2022, at approximately 9:57 a.m., fire personnel located two deceased individuals inside a vehicle that was burned in the path of the #McKinneyFire. The vehicle was located in a residential driveway along Doggett Creek Road, which is off of Highway 96, west of the community of Klamath River, California. **There will be no additional information pending positive identification and notifications to next-of-kin.** ADDITIONAL FIRE...

July 19, 2022 at 12:08 pm PDT A Multnomah County circuit judge has dropped charges against Joey Gibson, the founder of Patriot Prayer, and Russell Schultz for their role in a 2019 street brawl outside a cider bar in Northeast Portland. A trial in the case of a third defendant, Mackenzie Lewis, will continue. Judge Benjamin Souede threw out the charges in court this morning, saying that prosecutors had failed to demonstrate that Gibson and Russell Schultz had engaged in “tumultuous and violent conduct,” one of the requirements for conviction on riot charges. “The state is trying to convict Mr....

Blum made headlines last March when The New York Times reported that he was eyeing an ambassadorship. The wealthy financier was reportedly interested in a position in a European capital. Blum served as the chairman of Blum Capital Partners, an equity investment management firm. Feinstein’s office said Blum’s “true passion was outside the office,” noting his involvement with the people of the Himalayas, having founded the American Himalayan Foundation. [snip]
