Thanks for answering, Cagey. I don't quite understand why it was maoved to the gulag. We've all been trying to figure out the meaning of the snipers' "Duck In A Noose" tale, which, as we discovered, is a Cherokee story. And of course much has been made of the fact that John Muhammad the sniper is Muslim. So it seemed reasonable to look up an Islam/Cherokee connection...I was surprised it came up so easily in Google. So I am indeed puzzled as to why it was banished to noman's land.

Could someone please explain what it means when you get a message saying, "This post has been moved to chat"? Tried finding a chat site without success. Does this mean a post has been moved to the gulag? Many thanks.

Let's see...the note writer said Moose was to talk about a noose...around a duck. Moose...noose...duck...They shoulda mentioned the White Rabbit...But they'll get to that latter after they finish reporting on the taking the poplar stump into custody.

Another article on Blankenship. Wonder if he and a few buddies started out on a killing spree...perhaps a competition? At least one on the east coast and at least one on the west. I'm gonna see what else I can dig up re similar shootings in the area....or in Alabama. Someone somewhere on FR mentioned some search in AL.

Fort Lewis Soldier Allegedly Fires At Drivers
    22-Year-Old Charged
CENTRALIA, Wash. -- A Fort Lewis soldier charged in a Sunday highway shooting near Centralia has been linked to two other weekend shootings in Lacey, Wash.
Police say Jeremiah Blankenship, 22, is responsible for shooting at 20-year-old Kathryn Morrisette.

She was driving through an intersection Saturday when her truck was hit (pictured). Morrisette ducked forward but was still hit by shrapnel.

A couple who drove through the same intersection about a half-hour before found gunfire holes in their car.

Police caught up to Blankenship after he allegedly drove alongside another car Sunday and fired a 20-gauge shotgun to flatten a front tire on Interstate 5 near Centralia. The driver was uninjured in the shooting.

State troopers arrested Blankenship and charged him with first-degree assault with a firearm and with driving under the influence. Bail was set at $1 million dollars in Lewis County.

    Slip,
Finding this info makes things less scary...I think. I had been heavily leaning towards AQ/terrorist as sniper(s). However, this new info now makes me lean towards home-grown boys which means when they catch them, the sniping is over. I'd been really worried that if snipers were AQ that the whole sniping thing was a diversion...a set-up for something really big they could prepare while we were focusing on snipes. I'm feeling some sense of relief for the 1st time since the sniping began. Let's pray they're on the verge of catching these monsters.

Gotta wonder if this issue is a connection to sniper: Fort Lewis soldier connected to another I-5 shooting Blankenship

RUTH LONGORIA THE OLYMPIAN On the Web

An early Sunday vehicle shooting between Maytown and Grand Mound has been linked to a Fort Lewis soldier suspected of similar shootings in Lacey and Lewis County, according to the Thurston County Sheriff's Office. Sgt. Jeremiah Daniel Blankenship, 22, pleaded not guilty Thursday and is being held in Lewis County Jail on $1 million bail on charges of first-degree assault with a firearm and driving under the influence. His trial is set for Nov. 25. Blankenship is suspected of firing a 20-gauge shotgun at a passing motorist at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday between Grand Mound and Centralia. Charges are expected to be filed against Blankenship next week in Thurston County for incidents that occurred at 8:30 and 9 p.m. Saturday night at a Hawks Prairie roundabout, Lacey Police said. A woman in one of the Lacey incidents received minor injuries; no one was injured in any of the other shootings, authorities said. "It's amazing to me -- with a guy shooting a shotgun at cars -- that this wasn't a lot worse," sheriff's Capt. Dan Kimball said. In the Maytown incident, a 17-year-old boy from Rochester called the State Patrol Sunday morning to report being shot at on Interstate 5 by a man with a crewcut in a large car, but information wasn't provided to the sheriff's office or linked to the other incidents until Thursday, Kimball said. The youth -- whose name is not being released because he is a minor -- told officers he was driving south on I-5 near milepost 92 at about 12:45 a.m. when he saw the headlights of a car coming up behind him at a high rate of speed. The victim changed lanes thinking the other driver must want to pass him, but the driver of the other car slowed down and seemed to pace himself beside the victim's car, Kimball said. When the victim looked over at the other vehicle he saw the end of a gun pointing out the window of the car and heard a shot and what sounded like something falling off of his vehicle. The victim's car was found to have damage to the right front quarter panel that appears to be consistent with holes from gunfire, Kimball said. "Based on the time, the general description and the MO, we're confident this is connected to the same guy," Kimball said. Details from this case will be added to the information compiled on the two Lacey incidents and filed with the Prosecutor's Office, Kimball said. http://www.theolympian.com/home/news/20021012/southsound/18573.shtml

The Blind Sheik has a son too. He goes by the name of "God's Sword" and has vowed to bring the war to the "American urban streets". We have him in jail. Did we miss some of his friends? I wonder if that card really said, "I am God's sword"?

Good thinking! Hopefully they will one day show us a photo of the real card. Creepy.

Any way you know of to find out if Wyly is Jewish? I'm pretty sure the name is Jewish, although that wouldn't necessarily mean CJ Wyly is Jewish. A friend of mine just told me Wyly has made substantial contributions to Bush.

Is it a coincidence that Mark Furhman said on FOX News he's surprised that the perp(s) hadn't killed a law enforcement officer, and the next person was an FBI employee.

Interesting. The press had picked up on the fact that after we said schools were safe, he hit a kid. After we said he hadn't struck at night, he hits at night. Good pick up on the law enforcement lead that the snipe followed up on. But I think, too, that it's no coincidence that Franklin was working on anti-terrorism projects.
