Los Alamos Security Dumps Humvees For Better-Armored Vehicle Security police at Los Alamos National Laboratory have scrapped their Humvees in favor of the Lenco BearCat, which they said has better armor. The BearCat is a 15,000-pound, blast-resistant, bulletproof vehicle that seats 10 and costs $300,000, said lab officials. While armor can be added to a Humvee, the Lenco BearCat comes with it.

So I was lurking over at Blog for America ... you know, the blog that was the big one during the Dean campaign, and is now the Democracy for America blog. Anyway, whoa, guys, you need to go check it out. These people HATE Kerry. They REALLY hate Kerry. It's very encouraging, because, if you'll remember, there were LOTS of Screamiacs (Dean supporters)... if none of them vote for Kerry, well, that thought makes me really really happy. I'm new here, so I hope this posts right.
