Everyone here needs to relax. It's a bad day - don't make it worse. No cannibalism.

Bush isn't talking to us today, he's talking to the new partners and constituents that have been hoisted upon him. They are tuning in to watch him twitch, and his goal is to take the first step in defining this new relationship.

Read your Dale Carnegie. He's doing the right thing. These are the steps necessary to avoid disaster.

Yes, but I'm still going to give credit in that he signed it, no matter why he did. That works both ways. Let's be honest and remember Alito was Bush's 2nd choice.

In the end, though, this is just mental exercises in-between meetings at work. An out of the box thought. Granted it's more than a few miles out of the box!

The other comment made about not giving in to how the current UN is run, but to change it fundamentally, is the one that strikes the Jefferson chord with me. I just wonder if that will ever be achievable. If Annon gets another 5 years, what good is that?

I liked the idea of pretty much any American at the head, with Bolton there to keep him honest. If it was Clinton, so be it - better than Annon.

But he also passed NAFTA and Welfare reform. Again, I'm not saying he's not problematic, but he's not Howard Dean.

The UN is a different gig, though - it's a more ceremonial thing thats more about dialog than anything else. He won't be signing anything into law, and he wont be the commander of anything.

I'm just thinking about the possibilities, and he's one of very few Americans I could see actually getting voted in. Consider the other options.

And let's not worry about Hillary being president. That just aint happening and everyone knows it.

I dont agree on the Clinton thing. He's a flawed guy with many priorties that aren't aligned with mine, with a wicked multilaterialism streak up his back... BUT, I dont think he HATES America. Although he and Hillary come out every now and then with tactical political statements that make me wince and groan, that's the political game and they play it well. By and large they are much more supportive of the war effort than the moonbat fringe, and represent more moderate leftist thought.

I would never vote for either for American political office, but I have to admit the U.N. thing is intriguing. I think he would be very effective in cleaning up the abuses and basic administrative failure that is occurring under Annon, and further he would bring a pro-America viewpoint into discussions that I'm sure are quite the opposite now.

Momma dont let your daughters grow up to be UN interns, but otherwise I think this could work.

    Not lurkin' - just sayin!

    "Who's Bill Clinton", indeed!

Friends - suggest you simply sit back and enjoy this adolescent man's journey into obscurity. His concerns about his legacy are moot - he leaves no legacy.

Ever visit the Jimmy Carter library? A very nice place, unsullied by visitors. Who will visit the Bill Clinton Presidential Library in a year or two? Let us allow his monument to himself speak for itself.

I wouldnt have changed a thing about it. It's perfect. Enjoy!
