Treisman is not a Trumper, but one of the Left, a supporter of Bernie Sanders. The HuffPo, like NPR, doesn’t bother to inform its readers about this at all. Buried in the fifteenth paragraph of the Washington Post story on Treisman is the salient fact that this psychopath himself explained that he wanted to kill Biden in order to “save bernie [sic].” Treisman wrote on the Internet platform iFunny: “If anything I have to save bernie.” Then he wondered on the same platform: “should I kill joe biden?” But most of those who are imagining a MAGA hat on Treisman...

Going back to (at least) the technocratic and ambitious FDR, American Democrats have believed that federal government eggheads are best suited to manage most things, including mundane things like ensuring healthcare or housing, for everyone. But as a rule, Democrats have always had a very nuanced way of presenting such policies to the American people. In other words, socialists in America have been most successful when they don’t tell Americans that what’s being offered to them is socialism. The old guard of the Democrat party, which Joe Biden represents, has long understood that. The radical Bernie Sanders wing of the...

Some 90% of all U.S. wells are now hydraulically fractured. Fracked wells in shale formations open up vast supplies of oil, natural gas and petroleum liquids that previously were locked up and inaccessible. Fracking conventional wells expands and prolongs production, leaving less energy in the ground. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, AOC, the Democrat Party and U.S. environmentalists are determined to make climate change, the Green New Deal, and replacing fossil fuels with wind, solar, battery and biofuel power the centerpiece of their foreign and domestic policies. They would ban fracking outright – or price and restrict it out of existence...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) said on CNN's "State of the Union" Sunday that she believes it's "extremely important" that Joe Biden offer Sen. Bernie Sanders and other progressive leaders Cabinet positions if he's elected president. The big picture: Ocasio-Cortez was pressed repeatedly on policy differences between her and the more moderate Biden, including her opposition to fracking and support for Medicare for All. She responded that it would be a "privilege" and a "luxury" to be able to lobby a Biden administration on progressive issues, insisting that the focus right now should be on winning the White House. What she's...

Alexander Hillel Treisman Most of the time, the media doesn’t outright lie to you. Yeah, every once in a while they’ll blurt out a huge whopper (“Russian collusionâ€), but usually it’s more subtle than that. They’ll give you the facts, but they’ll emphasize some facts over others to preserve the narrative they’re selling. They’ll lie by omission. They’ll distract you with trivia while the real story slips by you unnoticed. For example, did you hear about the guy they just arrested in North Carolina for plotting to kill Joe Biden? Do you think you know why he wanted to do...

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is hopeful to secure a Cabinet position within a potential Joe Biden administration, according to a new report. The report from Politico - a politics-specific news outlet - claims Sanders has an interest in becoming labor secretary if the Democratic nominee wins the upcoming general election. The senator did not confirm or deny the claims, which were first reported Thursday. "Right now I am focused on seeing that Biden is elected president," he told Politico. "That's what my main focus is." NBC5 News has submitted multiple requests to Sanders for comment. If Sanders were to leave...

Could worker reclassification laws affect the 2020 election? With Americans turning to independent contract work (or “gig work”) in wake of COVID-19, this issue could motivate people to vote. Freelancers across the nation worry the Biden-Harris ticket—should they prevail and get backing from a Democrat-led Senate—would displace 59 million Americans from the workforce.Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) openly support the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO Act). The former vice president tweeted and doubled down support for it on his campaign website, while his running mate signed onto the Senate version as a co-sponsor. But wait, it gets better! Bernie Sanders has expressed interest in being Biden’s...

The Plexiglas at Wednesday’s vice-presidential debate made for some strange reflections. Squint hard enough, and you might even have seen the ghostly image of the evening’s third, silent participant: Bernie Sanders. Debates rarely produce clear winners, though they often produce clear wins. Vice President Mike Pence’s victory of the evening was successfully exposing for viewers who is really running today’s Democratic Party. And give him credit. Just three weeks from an election, not one member of the Beltway media, including the debate moderators, has been willing to challenge Joe Biden on his leftward lurch. It was left to Mr. Pence...

The hired security guard accused of shooting a protester dead during a Denver rally on Saturday was identified by police as Matthew Robert Dolloff. Dolloff, 30, is being held in connection to a first-degree murder investigation in the shooting, the Denver Police Department announced on Sunday. Family members said the victim was Lee Keltner, a military veteran. Officials said Dolloff has not yet been charged. He is being questioned about the shooting, which was captured on camera. The shooting happened at a pro-President Donald Trump rally that was disrupted by people with Black Lives Matter and Antifa, who had planned...

30-year old Matthew Doloff was booked into the Denver jail system on charges of first-degree murder in the shooting of a Patriot Prayer demonstrator in the city’s Civic Center on Saturday. Doloff appears to have been in the service of a 9NEWS reporter as a private security guard when he shot and fired a conservative demonstrator. He had been involved in a minor scuffle with the thus unidentified victim before shooting him in the head, and the victim only used pepper spray against his assailant when Doloff pointed a gun at him. Doloff owns a farm and is affiliated with...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not take kindly to Vice President Mike Pence referencing her and her famous moniker during Wednesday night’s vice presidential debate with Sen. Kamala Harris. While discussing differences between the Biden-Harris plan for combating climate change with that of the Green New Deal championed by Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the vice president pointed out how Harris (D-Calif.) was an original co-sponsor of the bill when it came to the Senate floor.

Socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was humiliated after throwing a "rally" in support of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden that saw only a handful of people show up. Images of the event appear to show a small number of people scattered across an empty field filled with "Biden - Harris" signs.

Why is Mr. Biden not making more of an effort to distance himself from violent leftist radicals? To this point he’s been notable for going further than any Democratic nominee since George McGovern in 1972 in embracing nonviolent political radicals. For decades, leading Democrats blocked the anti-liberty advocate Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont from any influential role in policy making because the party and its voters embraced liberalism, not Marxism. Four years ago, Hillary Clinton defeated Mr. Sanders in a relatively close presidential nomination contest, but she never asked him to co-author her policy agenda. Long an admirer of the impoverished...

On September 17, a King County Superior Court Judge ruled in favor of four articles of recall brought against Seattle’s socialist city councilmember Kshama Sawant. The recall campaign represents an attempt by the right wing and big business to overturn Kshama’s re-election last year and drive socialist politics out of Seattle City Hall. **SNIP** While the recall petition was officially filed by an individual resident of Kshama’s district, the language in it is notably all but identical to a public statement from Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan calling for the City Council to expel Kshama. **SNIP** This recall effort is above...

Joe Biden pointed out that he beat 'a socialist' - a dig at his former rival Bernie Sanders - as he tried to tried to capture the vote of Florida's swing state voters with Cuban and Venezuelen roots. 'Look, I'm the guy that ran against a socialist,' Biden said at Monday night's NBC News town hall. 'Remember, I got in trouble with the whole campaign, 20-something candidates? Joe Biden was too centrist, too moderate, too straightforward. That was Joe Biden.' Biden's retort came the same day that Sanders was back on the campaign trail for the Biden-Harris ticket, stumping for...

VIDEO It's the new description of the incredibly meager audiences that show up for Joe Biden rallies: "Limited Audience Event." Thank you Bernie Sanders for providing that accurate description. The funniest thing about the "Limited Audience Event" on Saturday was what source was hyping it.

Democrats in 2016 demanded Senate Republicans "do their job" and give a hearing and vote to President Barack Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland, in spite of it being a presidential election year. Obama, then-vice president Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, then-Senate minority leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) and Senate Democrats ripped Republicans, who were in control of the Senate, for their decision not to consider Garland. Sen. Patrick Leahy (D., Vt.) said the Senate had approved judges as late as "September" in election years, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) said the notion that Obama could not nominate a judge...

A small crowd turned out to see Bernie Sanders campaign for Joe Biden in New Hampshire on Saturday. Sanders was stumping for Biden in the town of Lebanon. “Bernie Sanders takes the stage for a distanced rally for Joe Biden in Lebanon,” Adam Sexton of WMUR reported, posting a photo of a handful of people there to see the socialist senator:

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is none too pleased with the direction of Joe Biden's bid for the White House. According to a report from earlier this month, Sen. Sanders has privately criticized the Democratic presidential nominee for being too moderate and failing to emphasize the progressive policies at the heart of his campaign. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., echoed Sanders's concerns in a recent interview. This supposed flap between Biden and some of his party's progressive luminaries is about style rather than substance. The former vice president's proposed policy agenda is further to the left than any Democratic nominee in American...
