The Biden Family Green New Deal

Some 90% of all U.S. wells are now hydraulically fractured. Fracked wells in shale formations open up vast supplies of oil, natural gas and petroleum liquids that previously were locked up and inaccessible. Fracking conventional wells expands and prolongs production, leaving less energy in the ground.

Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, AOC, the Democrat Party and U.S. environmentalists are determined to make climate change, the Green New Deal, and replacing fossil fuels with wind, solar, battery and biofuel power the centerpiece of their foreign and domestic policies. They would ban fracking outright – or price and restrict it out of existence through a slow, painful death of a thousand regulatory cuts.

That would cost up to 19 million jobs and billions of dollars in annual royalty and tax revenues, send energy prices soaring, and end America’s newfound status as the world’s foremost oil and gas producer.

It would also hammer environmental quality, especially in sunny and windy locations, such as Western, Midwestern and coastal states. Their fossil fuel revenues would disappear; their wind and sunshine would be exploited; their open spaces, scenic areas and wildlife habitats would be blanketed with wind turbines, solar panels, transmission lines, and warehouses filled with backup power batteries.

What do the lefty assclowns have against plant food anyway? And, yes Virginia there are plenty of assclowns out there that have no clue all their dreams are based on BS. How come rip van byeDUHn talks of ending subsidies to the petro industry by not a mention to the wind and solar scams? Too bad PDJT didn't have a chance to get that in the other night.

I thought this was about the Biden’s “green cash” deal...

Biden already tried the Green Jobs scam with Obama.
All the money DISAPPEARED!
They could not account for it....

Gang Green wants you freezing and starving in the dark. And the only “shovel ready” jobs they will actually create are those for grave diggers

The only green the Bidens care about is the green in their offshore bank accounts.

Jow is that Green New Deal working out in California? Every time the wind finally gets the wind mills going they have to turn the power off.

Turning the power off has more to do with the possibility of transmission lines breaking and starting another conflagration.

One of the biggest points in the ecology efforts is the attack on fracking. Yet the socialists are openly fighting the oil reserve capacity in ANWAR and they do almost no fracking at all...in the wilderness.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/drilling-in-alaska-is-good-for-the-earth-1515627837

Seems kind of strange they would want to use ecological unworkable ways to keep our country strong but not use ANWAR or the Rockies for oil reserves for their impossible transition to wind and solar. Wonder where the money they are getting is coming from? And won’t wind turbines harm wildlife when the amount needed to create enough power to run our current needs would require a bigger area than the state of California to build? And how many actually believe this cr@p?

There are imprecise descriptions in the article that lead to some imprecise understandings that are key to the “fracking” debate. I’ll weigh in on this but hope an oil patch specialist can chime in to fill in the blanks better.

Fracking or more accurately hydraulic fracturing is absolutely it anything new. It is a standard process in use since at least the 1940s and I think far longer. One of the last steps in preparing an oil or gas well for production is to frac the well. Very high pressure liquid with additives is pumped into the well to create fractures in the strata to increase flow rate and recovery efficiency of the liquid and gasses. The additives make the fractures, channels and pores “slippier” so to speak.

The politically fueled fracking ban if implemented at face value would destroy the energy industry and ALL of industry. Period end stop. Think horse and buggy, mule pulled plows and water wheels on the creek time. This is idiocy.

What has changed is not the fracking but the sophistication of directional drilling. Like fracking, directional drilling has been around for many decades and I think predates fracking. The technology now enables horizontal drilling with great precision and this combined with fracking is unlocking previously uneconomic concentrations of tightly held, largely shallow oil deposits. These now economically recoverable oil reserves are of immense size and breadth.

Besides new production oil fields now ripe for development, old and played out oil fields as old as the early 1900s are again economic to bring back into production.

I was just pointing out that when the wind blows in california the billions spent on windmills goes on standby, due to the superiority of socialist planning.

But not a problem, when the wind stops, they turn the windmills back on. Funny thing, due to the stuperior marxist mindset, the government subsidies to install solar everywhere put in grid tie only systems that in case of a brownout due to insufficient power generation from the winmills being on standby forces all the solar panels to automatically shut down too.

So a simple windy day turns the green new deal into a complete blackout. All the houses with 5000 watts of solar panels kn their roofs can’t charge a cell phone.

Gonna be a cold winter, because when it rains and the wind blows, the solar panels and windmills both cannot produce, causing another brownout crash of the grid.

And, to put the AOC thinking cap to good use the Central power planners eliminated a large portion of the fossil fuel back up plants, and blocked nuclear plants.

Because politicians know more about electricity than engineers and electricians. Because.

Yep, better hope for global warming, because winter is gonna kick Californias arse just as bad as summer did.

Hard to run a factory in the dark... Good thing the pension funds are full after all that emergency spending for illegal migrant bennifits.

Oh, wait....
