Separately, arrogance and ignorance are some of humanity’s worst traits. Together, when coupled with power, they achieve “weapon-grade stupid” status. This is the marinade of the “gang of four,” the “progressive” Congresswomen – Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar – who I’d accuse of having exponentially more social media followers than accomplishments, but it’s impossible to multiply by zero. This week we witnessed why those two traits together are such a problem for Democrats, and it was hilarious.Individually, the Gang of Four have strung together an uninterrupted string of gaffes, stupid statements, and racist comments that would...

Remember reports that President Donald J. Trump slammed Speaker of the House Paul Ryan for not understanding loyalty? Cliff Simms, a former White House staffer, said in his book the president told Ryan that the GOP congress was constantly beaten by the Democratic Party because Nancy Pelosi essentially made sure they never publicly fought and remained cohesive. Well, flash forward to 2019 and there is an all-out civil war going in Speaker of the House Pelosi's part that is replete with accusations of racism, sexism, and ageism that leftists typically reserve for hurling at Republicans. Last night may have reached...

Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., the co-chair of the House Progressive Caucus, suggested Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., hurt the progressive cause when she downplayed the influence of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and other freshman lawmakers. Pelosi told The New York Times last week that Ocasio-Cortez and Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., "have their public whatever and their Twitter world, but they didn’t have any following. They’re four people, and that’s how many votes they got.” “I don’t think those comments were helpful to a broader picture of how we build progressive power...

FULL TITLE: House Democratic Caucus rips AOC's chief of staff for criticizing lawmaker: 'Keep her name out of your mouth' The official House Democratic Caucus Twitter account ripped into Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's, D-N.Y. chief of staff Friday for his criticism of another Democratic lawmaker -- an astonishing tirade that laid bare the simmering tensions between the freshman congresswoman and her party's leadership. The caucus’ Twitter account flagged a June 27 tweet by Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff, Saikat Chakrabarti, in which he criticized Rep. Sharice Davids, D-Kansas, for her votes on issues to do with the migrant crisis at the border....

The border crisis appears to have inched the Democratic Party towards another episode of internal strife. Civil war? Well, I’m not so sure about that, but it’s been getting pretty nasty. The House passed a $4.6 billion border package that included strings attached, aimed at curbing immigration enforcement. This was pie-in-the-sky. Trump would never sign it, though he did sign the Senate bill into law, which provided the same funding but without the trash provisions against enforcing the law. It was also overwhelmingly bipartisan. Moderate House Democrats and Pelosi signed off on the Senate bill, which infuriated the far left....

This week, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) discovered the greatest peril of unleashing a revolution: The transformation from revolutionary to reactionary is always just one political cycle away. Pelosi began the week throwing Molotov soundbites at President Donald Trump, including the allegation that what he really wants is “to make America white again.” It was only the latest example of Democrats ramping up racial rhetoric for the 2020 elections. By week’s end, it was Pelosi who was being labeled as a racist after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) accused her of “explicit singling out of newly elected women of color.” Worse...

Apparently, an unnamed senior Dem aide is texting around a photo of a Goomba puppet from the video game Mario Bros. to slam Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a “puppet” of “elitist white liberals”:

It’s pretty impressive of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, playing the victim card in a fight she started.

The flap arises from the recent House passage of the Senate’s emergency border-funding bill, without voting on lefty-favored amendments. AOC and three other radical freshmen women(Ilhan Omar,Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley)voted against it — and AOC’s office started smearing the moderates who’d demanded action.

RUSH: We have audio sound bites coming up — an amazing press conference, impromptu. The president on the White House lawn with more media people than I’ve ever seen at one of these things, and it just went on and on and on. And Trump was even more outrageous and on point than he usually is in this press conference. Acosta was standing right next to him for the entire thing. And the point here was to make it plane that Acosta had made the decision to resign, that Acosta was a great labor secretary, Trump really hates to see...

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tore into what she called the Trump administration’s “policy of dehumanization” and stood by claims that detained migrants were told to drink out of toilet bowls at a fiery and emotional hearing about the migrant crisis at the border that featured the New York lawmaker and her freshman allies. The House Oversight Committee hearing Friday on child separation included a host of high-profile witnesses. Among them were the freshman Democratic lawmakers -- known informally as the "Squad" -- who recounted their recent visit to the border, which itself became a flashpoint in the already raging debate...

AOC demands to be sworn in to give emotional testimony with her freshman 'squad' about the migrant crisis on the border, calling treatment at detention centers 'manufactured cruelty' Firebrand Democrat and two of the members of her 'squad' testified to the House Oversight and Reform Committee about migrant detention centers Ocasio-Cortez demanded to be sworn in to the surprise of committee chair Elijah Cummings; she told him it was to counter Republicans saying she is lying Giving false testimony to Congress is a federal crime whether or not a witness has sworn an oath She had been called a liar...

House Democrats and their aides are quickly losing patience with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her office's nonstop sparring with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other long-serving members, suggesting the speaker's dismissive comments toward her may represent the view of a growing section of the caucus.

RUSH: The riff between Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pelosi. Trump defended Pelosi today. I defended Pelosi — well, I didn’t actually defend her, but when I was on Fox & Friends I said it’s mildly amusing to watch this internecine battle going on in the Democrat Party. We generally don’t see one Democrat accusing another of being a racist, but Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did accuse Pelosi of having a bias against newly elected women of color. And Trump came out and defended Pelosi while trashing Paul Ryan. He ripped Paul Ryan apart limb by limb, praised Pelosi as somebody who is not...

This may be the moment that political life starts to turn to crap for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Richard Baehr observes, "Criticism from conservatives attacking AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and Pressley wash off them. But when the Congressional Black Caucus goes after them and Pelosi gets ticked off at them, then they will be marginalized."

This is King Troll at his best. Good luck to House Dems in trying to figure out whom they should side with now that the most hated Republican in the country has joined Team Nancy.

President Trump weighed in on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez feuding with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. "Well, I think Cortez, who kept Amazon out of New York and they don’t like her for that, thousands and thousands of jobs; I think Cortez is being very disrespectful to somebody that’s been there a long time. I deal with Nancy Pelosi a lot and we go back and forth and it’s fine. But I think that a group of people is being very disrespectful to her," Trump told reporters Friday. "I don’t think that Nancy can let that go on." "But Cortez should...

The jokes about laying a supply of popcorn are everywhere on the right, as the most powerful elected Democrat and the most-publicized purported symbol of the party’s future tear into each other. It’s been brewing a long time, starting with an Ocasio-Cortez-led sit-in outside Nancy Pelosi’s Capitol office a week after the bartender from the Bronx was elected to Congress, two months before she assumed office. Elle Magazine recaps the development of the squabble ever since that bad start. Along with fellow female freshmen Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Presley, and Ilhan Omar – a group that Pelosi has dubbed “the...

But when the Congressional Black Caucus goes after them and Pelsoi gets ticked off at them, then they will be marginalized.†The tyro pol who lives and breathes identity politics got too wrapped up in her self-righteousness. Scott Wong reports in The Hill: Congressional Black Caucus members are furious at Justice Democrats, accusing the outside progressive group aligned with firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) of trying to oust lawmakers of...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff recently admitted that the Green New Deal was not conceived as an effort to deal with climate change, but instead a “how-do-you-change-the-entire economy thing” -- a remark likely to fuel Republican claims that the deal is nothing more than a thinly veiled socialist takeover of the U.S. economy. “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all,” Saikat Chakrabarti said in May, according to The Washington Post. Its goals include net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, job creation, massive infrastructure investment, a guarantee of clean water and food,...

Sen. Lindsey Graham said Thursday night during an appearance on Fox News‘ Sean Hannity program that infighting between Democrat leadership including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the far-Left faction of her party led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) will lead to GOP victories next year. And a new Republican majority in the House. “What does this really mean? I think Republicans are more likely to take the House back because of this breakdown,” Graham said. “There are 31 Democrats that hold congressional seats where President Trump won their congressional district,” Graham, a South Carolina Republican, continued. “What does it mean...
