Her Majesty was seen in a film alongside James Bond actor Daniel Craig before apparently ‘parachuting’ into the stadium for the opening ceremony. The recorded sequence opened at Buckingham Palace, where a tuxedo-wearing Craig as 007 was presented to the Queen by her personal footman as she was writing a letter and training her corgis Monty, Willow and Holly to roll over.

President Obama loves the Olympics, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday, and will watch the Romneys' horse compete if he has the time. So after seeing the thing for what, two years now? It occurred to me last night that the London Olympics logo looked like puzzle pieces. They even have 3-D shaddow to make them look like you can pick them up and move them around. So I did. And I found a running man! But even weirder, it seem the running man is supposed to be upside-down, on his head. Because only then can you read the "London" pice properly.
