Some dominoes of Texas politics fell into place in the last few days or, more correctly, did not fall out of place as many thought they might. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson chose not to run against incumbent governor Rick Perry next year. She will instead run to keep her seat as a Republican in the U.S. Senate, a race she will almost certainly win.
