Obama says that “words matter,” so let’s examine the actual words. It is true that the Democrats did add language stating that the party “strongly supports a woman’s decision to have a child by ensuring access to and availability of programs for pre and post natal health care, parenting skills, income support, and caring adoption programs.” This is good to know and does provide a certain moral symmetry to their promotion...

The PIO confirmed what I had learned when speaking with other PD personnel two days ago -- that the DemocRATic National Committee has not made a police report regarding thousands of stolen flags after their little Greek tragedy in Denver.</p>

THE STORY FROM ABC IN DENVER As many of you have heard, there is a flag controversy between the Republicans and the DemocRATS. The RNC is claiming that it save about 12,000 Americans flags leftover from Invesco Field in Denver. The claim is that they were headed for the dumpster. Democrats are not caring for their Stars and Stripes. At least that’s the message out of John McCain’s campaign. Hundreds of flags that were discarded by the DNC and headed to the trash were rescued and are being given out today at the McCain-Palin Rally in CO. It is unclear as to how the flags were discovered, some were reportedly discovered by a vendor by a dumpster. This will not sit well with many. Here’s a rundown of my night at convention: 2:55 p.m. — After a long walk, I reach the huge white tents where we have to go through the scanning and search routine. There are dumpsters filling up with stuff people can’t take into the stadium. I notice umbrellas and even American flags thrown in the trash cans. (Ironically, everyone inside was handed an American flag.) This story is now breaking.

It was planned down to the most minute detail. The food, the biodegradable paper signs and banners, everything was planned to delight the greenest of green environmentalists. Along the way, they forgot just one minor thing, the Red White and Blue. On the floors of convention halls, our Colors were trashed and abandoned. Just heard on Fox News. The Boy Scouts filled dozens of large trash bags with US Flags that were trampled on the ground or thrown near trash receptacles at the Democrat Convention. They are going to hold a flag-retirement ceremony to properly honor those flags that were dishonored.
