Ron Pauls inclusive message attracting African American voters

Ron Pauls inclusive message of peace, freedom, and prosperity may be attracting African American voters. According to this poll, Ron Paul leads his GOP opponents among black voters in general election contests.
In general election matches Paul loses among African American voters 60% to 33% against Hillary Clinton and loses 61% to 31% to Barack Obama.
In 2004 CNN exit polls show Bush receiving 11% of the African American vote in the general election against Kerry.
The averages of general election match up against either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama are for Paul, Romney, McCain or Giuliani are, Ron Paul - 32%, Mitt Romney - 23.5%, John McCain - 20%, Rudy Giuliani - 16%.
If the polls are accurate it could mean that Ron Pauls message that Freedom unites people is working. Pauls uncompromising defense of the Bill of Rights is making him a Civil Rights Leader in his own right. ("Ron Paul inspiring new Civil Rights movements")
The poll, if accurate, could also mean that Ron Pauls message of repealing the police state is resonating with African American voters.
Paul does appear to be a uniting political force attracting supporters at his events from all walks of life.
USA Daily does not encourage its readers to allow polls to influence their voting decisions in any way. They are too often inaccurate. This statement is not a comment on the poll in question just on polling in general. (Discuss the election on www.usadaily.net)

"You mean, like, Ron Paul is antiwar? That is like so cool. I mean, you know, war never solved anything. How do you like my new pedicure?"
I'm sure the leading GOP candidates are shaking harder than Donna's silicon-enhanced chest during a BreastwatchBaywatch shoot at this earth-shattering endorsement.
Not.

And if you think he’s the best man, you should.
I can only voice my opinion and perhaps go over the top a bit too much in response.
You take care.

Do you have any proof of that? If so, how much? I wouldn’t be all that surprised though. From an economics perspective, Romney has a lot to offer. I’ve often said he deserves serious consideration just as a strong businessman, if nothing else.

Go read the link at her blog. She isn’t the dumb blonde you seem to think she is. Or are you just mad we’ve got a supporter who’s even prettier than Jeri Thompson?

Or are you just mad weve got a supporter whos even prettier than Jeri Thompson?
Reduced to silliness, I see. I'm voting for the man. Fred's da man. Paul's da shrimp.

I'm fine with expecting Christian leaders to apply consistent standards to politicians. If they condemned Clinton for certain things, they shouldn't give Bush a pass on them.
I'm not so big on the Confederate flag thing, one way or the other. If it causes so much fuss, it's become a distraction. But the article does reflect that some people feel it is a way to honor the Southerners who died during the Civil War. Their cause was not especially noble. But the Union was never fighting for freeing the slaves either. It turned out that way but Lincoln didn't intend for it to happen.

How is you manage to make voting for Fred sound so unattractive?
Me, I like to focus on positives.
To: George W. Bush
I take it by your response that is the same Chuck then?

ow is you manage to make voting for Fred sound so unattractive? This from a Paultard. Pushing a shrill, antiwar nutcase who inserted the earmarks before he voted against them.
Me, I like to focus on positives.
Like being anti-war and anti-national-security is a positive? BWAHAHAHA!

Unless he isnt the only Walter F Williams in Center Valley PA.
I hadn't seen the claim for this before.
The Walter Williams that subs for Rush is Walter
E. Williams. I don't see one listed as a donor for Mitt. And Wikipedia shows the quotes and WaPo article where he endorses Ron Paul as his favorite. Mr. Williams is also regularly begged to run for president himself (which I think would be outstanding). And Ron Paul says that someone like Williams is who he would want for VP.
So I think Williams didn't donate to Mitt. Not that I have any big problem with Mitt though. I like all the candidates who aren't named Giuliani.
To: George W. Bush
Thanks, I know that Walter Williams lived right in that area of PA, different one. Looks like Walter E doesn’t have any donations listed.

As far as I know. You seem to keep track of him more than I do. I like some of his sermons and writings about church influence in American history, the steadfast separation of church and state, etc.
The flag article wasn't written by Baldwin, just published by him. I thought the history portion and the quotes were interesting. It's one of those issues where what we want to remember about the people of an era differs somewhat from what they would want to be remembered for. Just because we're not blatant in rewriting history, as the old Soviets were, doesn't mean that we don't have a certain amount of revisionism over the course of time. But to be honest about history, we have to look at the people and events from their perspective, not ours. Otherwise, we can never grasp the real lessons of history.
To: George W. Bush
You seem to keep track of him more than I do. Nope, those where just some of the first article results that pulled for him.

Supporting Fred seems to make some of you so bitter. Not that Fred is like that. Just his followers here at FR. I think you do a disservice to him.
Not that it matters really. I expect that Ron Paul will succeed or fail in the first five states and he is a long shot by his own reckoning. So I expect to be picking between Fred and Mitt in my late primary. Both have some merit and neither is named Giuliani.

>>That said, I do hope that a President Ron Paul will consider Duncan Hunter for Secretary of Defense. <<
I do agree on this one point. I do think Duncan Hunter will be considered for SecDef, if he wants it.
I hope, really really hope it won’t be Ron Paul who appoints him.
