My three year old son Michael died this morning at 3 a.m. He had been experiencing high fevers for over a month and has been in the hospital again for the last few days. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illness and had contacted many others to review the many tests they had run on him.
Though he received very good medical care, his little heart just stopped beating and wouldn't start again. I know he is in the arms of Jesus, but I just don't understand why this has happened.
Please pray for me, my wife, and my other children. I don't know what we are going to do. We are all so upset. The doctor at the hospital gave my wife an injection of a sedative to calm her down. I'm feeling really desperate. God gave us such a beautiful boy, and now He has taken him away from us. I don't understand. Please pray for us.

May God Bless You and Give You Strength. My heart goes out to you.
John 14:
Jesus said:
[1] Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
[2] In my Fathers house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Psalm 121:
I lift up my eyes to the hills---where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

You are precious to God, and to us. You are not alone. Many here share this deepest grief with you and your wife. They can tell you that after the storm passes you will live, and be strong, and guide others through this valley even as they are now reaching to guide you.
Tell your wife that we love her. In the secret garden of her heart, your beautiful boy will bloom; always treasured, always in view, even when unspoken. Your love gave him life, and death cannot change that.

My prayers go out for your family. What a great mystery is life that would remove a loved boy and leave a miscreant. He is in the arms of our God and basking in the sound of the angelic choir. God is the pillar of strength upon which you must lean. I am experiencing great sorrow because my twin grandsons are here for a visit and if anything happened to them I would be devastated. May God grant you and yours moments of serenity when you need them most.

My sincerest condolences, my FRiend. Having two little ones of my own and another on its' way, I can not even to begin to imagine what you and your family are going through. My eyes are tearing up just thinking about it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and precious Michael. While it's of little consolation, he is in a far better place. Sometimes things are just beyond comprehension.

Sorry I'm late responding to this, I've been away from the puter for a few days.
OxfordMovement : May the Lord accept this young child into His arms and may He bring you and your family the strength to make it through these dark and tribulant days.

Dear Oxford: My love and prayers go out to you in the loss of your child. We can never understand the whys of these tragedies. I thank God you were blessed with this child's presence and that your memories will sustain all of you. I know how I would feel if that happened to one of mine or to a grandchild but I can't know how broken your hearts must be. Only God and you know that and He and He alone is the mender of broken hearts. One day at a time, Oxford. That's how you and your family will get through this. A happier time will come and God will be with you every minute even when He seems far away at times. He's always near. We love you. Mary
