[Catholic Caucus] Francis Repeats: "God Wants Diversity of Religions - Are Gift of God"

Francis doubled down on his apostasy statement in Singapore in a video message to participants in the 'Med24 Meeting' on September 17.

He said today that God loves everyone, adding the lie that God "makes no differences among us" as if sinners and saints are the same.

Francis: "Contemplate the difference of your traditions as a richness, a richness that God wants to be. Unity is not uniformity, and the diversity of your cultural and religious identities is a gift from God".

Yeah, a gift from God . . . except for the Latin Mass. Not that.

If I said what I think about this man, I'd have to go to Confession!!!!!

It is a real head-scratcher as to why God continues to allow this heretic stain to waste oxygen...

BREAKING: Pope Francis: ‘diversity of religious identities is a gift of God’

How Is This Not Material Heresy, If Not Formal Heresy?

It’s a challenge to us and our bishops to stand up and defend the Faith. So far, few have met the challenge.

Our faith is being put to the test by manifest heresy from the Pope, and the bishops are silent.

We must, therefore, speak.

Mr. Bergoglio is promoting HERESY. Jesus said "I am THE Way and THE Truth and THE Life". He is The Way to The Father ... there is no other.

We are fast approaching the tribulation and the church will play a major in it.

Presumably Pope Francis has read the Gospel according to Matthew at some time in his life, but either never read it to the end (verses 18-20 of chapter 28) or thinks those verses should be excised (although they are in all the manuscripts).

I love the “all religions are searching for truth”. Why did they stop the aztecs from ripping out beating hearts? If all religions are spiritually valid, then the aztecs were okay.

My honest take, sorry about the length up front. I would 100% say it is an an error and this approach when dealing with non-Catholics is 100% wrong. I would also say it does which does potentially constitute material heresy, more than 50% probability.

Formal Heresy is an obstinate denial after being charged with Heresy, which that is not the case. But I 100% agree that the Pope in this Speech to non-Catholics was wrong and in theory an heretical statement. Yet, in a way it goes back to the reality that even a Pope like Francis who speaks off the cuff, way, way, way, to much and is not in reality an erudite Theologian is His own worse enemy.

The thing with the Pope is every Mass and talk to Catholic Bishops on this trip in Asia, He told them Christ is the only way to salvation and for them to evangelize all Society.

Cindy Wooten of the Catholic News Service reported that in Indonesia speaking to Catholics, Pope Francis addressed church workers on September 4, emphasizing that sharing the Gospel should be done with joy and respect rather than attempting to convert others at all costs.

Here is a quote “Proclaiming the Gospel does not mean imposing our faith or placing it in opposition to that of others, but giving and sharing the joy of encountering Christ, always with great respect and fraternal affection for everyone,” Pope Francis stated during a meeting with bishops, priests, religious members, and catechists.

Kristina Milare of the Catholic News Agency reported at the Mass in Indonesia on 5 September (again talking to Catholics in an 87% Muslim Country) Pope Francis stated “Let us not forget that the first task of the disciple — and we are all disciples — is not to clothe ourselves with an outwardly perfect religiosity, to do extraordinary things or engage in grandiose undertakings. No! The first step is to know how to listen to the only word that saves — the word of Jesus,” he said on the third day of his 45th apostolic journey to Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Notice here the only word that saves, the word of Jesus.

Courtney Mares of Catholic News Agency reported on 7 September 2024 at the Mass in Papua New Guinea when giving a Homily Pope Francis asks Papua New Guinea Catholics to spread the Gospel to ‘peripheries’. The Pope called on the Catholics at the Mass in Papua New Guinea to continue in their efforts of bringing the Gospel to the most marginalized and remote communities within the country. The article noted that Pope Francis honored and praised the faith by saints and martyred missionaries depicted in the shrine’s stained-glass windows, including St. Peter Chanel, Blessed Father John Mazzucconi, Blessed Peter To Rot, St. John Paul II, St. Mary McKillop, and others. Pope Francis then urged all the Catholics gathered as the shrine to emulate the saints by bringing Christ to “the peripheries of this country.”

Ianes Sean Martin from the Pontifical Mission Societies reported Pope Francis Homily at the Mass in Singapore 12 September 2024:

During his homily, Pope Francis’ also referred to St. Francis Xavier, the great Jesuit missionary who passed through Singapore on his journeys to spread the Gospel. The Pope said that the saint’s dedication and zeal for evangelization offer a profound example for today’s Church. He quoted a letter St. Francis Xavier’s wrote to St. Ignatius of Loyola and his first companions in which he expressed his desire to go to all universities of his time in order to cry out “like a madman… [to] those with more learning than charity” so that they might feel compelled to become missionaries for the love of their brothers and sisters, and to “cry out with all their heart: ‘Lord, I am here! What do you want me to do?’”
Pope Francis encouraged the faithful in Singapore to adopt this same spirit of missionary zeal. “We too could make these words our own, following his and Mary’s example: ‘Lord, here I am; what do you want me to do?’”

So this is what drives u crazy about Pope Francis, talking to Catholics he is 100% orthodox in his wording, which is probably something he drafted and edited. When He speaks off the cuff, he says some very confusing and wrong stuff.

That is why I have used this as a teaching opportunity, the Pope is protected by the Holy Spirit when the Pope is defining a Dogma with Solemn Definition (Extraordinary/Solemn Magisterium). Ordinary and Universal Magisterium can also teach infallibly. Rather than use non-infallible Ordinary Magesterium, I have started to use the 1983 Code of Canon Law 752 “Authoritative Magesterium” to distinguish from Ordinary and Universal, which while requires assent of mind and will, is not binding and does require assent of faith.

This Papal speech does not even fall under Authoritative Magisterium. So in light of what Pope Francis said in all His Homilies and talks with Catholics, which was 100% orthodox and his statement in the Singapore Speech to non-Catholic youth, I think the Pope was in error and wrong with that speech.

Yet, it again shows even with a Pope who is not to smart (and I don’t think Francis is) and is impulsive and speaks off the cuff and is not a good communicator, Christ is still in charge.

Peace and God Bless

But I 100% agree that the Pope in this Speech to non-Catholics was wrong and in theory an heretical statement.

.....

Heresy is a sin because of its nature it is destructive of the virtue of Christian faith. Its malice is to be measured therefore by the excellence of the good gift of which it deprives the soul. Now faith is the most precious possession of man, the root of his supernatural life, the pledge of his eternal salvation. Privation of faith is therefore the greatest evil, and deliberate rejection of faith is the greatest sin.

The thing with the Pope is every Mass and talk to Catholic Bishops on this trip in Asia, He told them Christ is the only way to salvation and for them to evangelize all Society.

In other words, he's two-faced. He tell each of his various audiences just what they want to hear.

Not a good quality for a vicar of Christ.

I don’t know why he does what he does, I really don’t. It seems He takes the easy approach when dealing with Non-Catholics to be to use the modern term “politically correct” to not as offend anyone. It is this notion that the Church has to not make the claims that Christ founded the Catholic Church and it has the fullness of Apostolic Tradition when the Pope is in a majority non-Catholic or even Christian country.

Yet, when He spoke to Catholics at every stop in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Singapore, He was 100% orthodox in saying proclaim Christ and the Gospel and evangelize all society.

So u go do the evangelization and I (Pope) will take the politically correct approach when talking to non-Catholics.

It is confusing. So u can’t say He is a formal heretic as He is 100% Orthodox in His trip with Catholics, but He says erroneous things when talking to Buddhist, Hindus and Muslims in Singapore

I don’t know why he does what he does, I really don’t.

Maybe it's because he doesn't believe what the Church has always taught. Maybe he doesn't have the Faith of his fathers.

He discouraged the protestant pastor, Tony Palmer, from converting to Catholicism. He told Palmer he needed to stay where he was in order to "build a bridge". What good is a bridge when it's builder is discouraged from crossing it?

Unfortunately, Palmer died outside the the Church; yet Francis ordered he be given a Catholic funeral.
