According to the Book of Enoch, the Flood came about because of genetic testing/changes. 1 Cor. 6:19 "Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's". And we know that the mRna vaccine changes our DNA. Our God given DNA, corrupting our body which is Gods.

If God wanted us to know exactly what these marks were or what they look like, he would have told us clearly instead of of leaving each generation of Christians over the centuries to speculate on it depending on the cultural norms and technology of their times. Instead, when that time comes, his own will know what it is. There will be no speculating or doubt.

What about a palm print scanner or retina scanner? ...with centralized banking.
Sounds too passive as I’m thinking it is more physically invasive. But I could be wrong.
What we do know is that it’s NOT Sunday worship. In fact in fullness it is not yet here and will not be until the antichrist rises and the church is Raptured.
Of course this will be argued against but time will prove it’s truthfulness.
How can a person worship the antichrist which has yet to make his presence known? That will not come to pass until the signing of a false 7 year peace agreement with Israel. Daniel 9:24-27 tells us at exactly 3 1/2 years this antichrist will break the covenant with Israel and will set himself upon the throne in the rebuilt Temple claiming to be (g)od himself. As stated, The Temple has yet to be rebuilt and until then the mark of the antichrist has not come into effect even though the stage is being set and the technology is here.
I believe it will be an identification system using bio-metrics and an implanted micro chip.
In that sense, there's also the simple obvious detail that it all begins with DC.
And given the prevalence of persecution in the Middle East (the land of the Bible), it’s possible that the beast is Islam.

We’re also in an unofficial, undeclared war that is ‘not’ spiritual... but quite corporeal. The Mark of the Beast will be a system inflicted upon anyone that is a believer and follower of Jesus...and anyone that does not bow down to Satan’s emissary, the AntiChrist.
It will be implemented via “RFID-type implants” that will “network” (connect) everyone to the system so the PTBs can monitor and control every transaction you make digitally. The technology is already here, it’s just not perfected or being mandated.... yet. China is already using the precursor to this via their SCS, which will eventually be used in every nation, thanks to idiots like Walz, who apparently worship that type of tyranny. And if they steal the next election, too... Walz will be just a heartbeat away from the US Presidency.
It’s coming. It’s a matter of when, not “if”.
