California’s top air quality regulator today urged the Biden administration’s Environmental Protection Agency to “immediately” approve the state’s regulation phasing out diesel trucks.
Air Resources Board Chair Liane Randolph was among more than 250 people who signed up to speak today at a virtual hearing focusing on whether the EPA should grant California a waiver that allows the state to enact its regulation. The hearing was expected to last 12 hours.

California can starve to death while thirsting for water in the dark. Cool.

Yes! Approve it!
Then let the rest of us know when California wants to change its mind and let trucks bring stuff there again.
Until then no stuff brought to CA.

The thing is, how do they get stuff, like food, out of Cali if this would happen?

No stuff hauled out of California either. Port of LA would shrink just diesel train traffic. Most shipping would then go to east coast ports.
To: Governor Dinwiddie
A very large amount of material comes into the US from the ports on the west coast, such as the port of Los Angeles and the port of Long Beach. Every person in this country will be impacted by this edict handed down from a bunch of unelected bureaucrats.

Someone pointed out that trucks are already very heavy and that replacing engines with huge battery packs will only make them heavier. Bridges will need to be reinforced throughout the country.
Will they only allow battery powered construction equipment to firm up the bridges?

The teamsters are for Trump. Why don’t they just refuse to operate their trucks in Cauliphonya. Let the CaliChimps drive to the state line and pick crap up.

"That Pacific Ocean air must be detrimental to some brains."
Perhaps even low doses of ubiquitous intoxicants in the air can have a cumulative effect.

We should kick California out of the Union and ban their trucks from getting in the U.S.
To: FlingWingFlyer
That’s the only viable way to carry out their insane plan.
