How did they dress in the early church? There’s nothing in the Bible that mentions it.Fairly certain the women didn't have spandex then.

It reminded me of videos I saw of people visiting President Regan lying in wait who looked like they were dressed for a day at Disney World. With all due respect, it was well over 80 degrees that day, and the line took almost six hours, most of which was outside the building in the sun. When people got inside, they were very respectful. At least when our family was there.

Many on this thread haven’t watched the video. It’s not about dressing too sportily, but rather about dressing trashily, with tight, sexy, revealing clothing or lack of enough clothing in church.

Another lecture from someone who didn’t watch the video and has completely missed the point.

Didn’t watch the video, but did make an irrelevant disagreement because you missed the point.

I guess you missed the part were I clearly stated we need to dress modestly, you know that kind of calls back to someone dressing sexily, you know something actually in the video, but go ahead make a baseless accusation.
Now, Please explain how insisting people dress a specific way promotes the message of Christ..
You assume to much in your accusation.

Where it is more conservative (like where I live and in places like Africa and parts of Asia and South America)
Her 1st Catholic school was Marie Anusorn in Buriram Thailand. There were 3 nuns for about 1500 students, none taught my daughter. Her 1st year they had classes on Dec 25th, but a new priest came in and changed that. The school is basically only Catholic in name as most of the students remain Buddhist.

C’mon! That never happens.
Reminds me of “Sid Norama”. (If you know, you know)

I’m pretty sure Jesus dressed in rags ...
I'm persuaded that is an incorrect assumption. The Messiah would have shown holy respect for the Temple of the Living God and worn the appropriate garments.

I am fairly certain he preferred leather or paper

Then why did the Roman soldiers cast lots for His garments?
