LIFT UP THE WORD--LIGHT UP THE WORLD
2 Samuel 22:29-31
“For You are my lamp, O Lord;
The Lord shall enlighten my darkness.
30 For by You I can run against a troop;
By my God I can leap over a wall.
31 As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the Lord is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
32 “For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
33 God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect.
34 He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places.
35 He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great.
37 You enlarged my path under me; So my feet did not slip.
Lord Jesus, we profess our complete faith in You. We believe You are the Light of the world. In You there is no darkness. We believe You are our lamp, OH LORD, and our God who lights the darkness.
Forgive us, Abba Father, for fearing and focusing on the darkness around us instead of YOU. We believe only Your HOLY SPIRIT can fill our hearts so America may be like the shining city on the hill You called us to be.
Forgive us, Lord Jesus, for all the times when we've turned from You, allowing darkness to dwell in America. Lead us forward to dispel this present darkness and bring Your LIGHT of TRUTH and LOVE throughout the church, family, education, business, military, government, arts, entertainment and media. Everywhere, Holy Father! Light our path to conform to Your way! In the Name of our Savior and King Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Holy Father God, hear our prayer!
We dare not give evil a passing glance and then quickly look away, claiming our frailty or our desire to shield ourselves from pain and suffering. Instead, we must TRUST IN YOU to stand form and confront evil head-on, glaring directly into its face, our hearts filled with Your Holy Spirit, abiding in You and Your Word. Clothed in the full armor of You provided us, the time is now for us to pray and stand.
It is time to stop hiding way Your Light that shines through us. We were not designed to play defense, fearfully lowering the dimmer switch to barely that of a nightlight, fearfully sneaking throught the darness. We are called to be a bright, shining light, YOUR LIGHT—exposing and dispelling the darness!
It’s time to run the frontlines and boldly reclaim all the enemy has stolen in every area of influence, in Amercian and around the world—in Your Name! Let us stand upon Your solid rock, pray and watch as our prayers move Your heart and hands in mercy, availing much!
We lift up Your Word and Light up the world, Holy Father! In the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ! LORD, You are our lamp and shield. Your way is perfect, and Your Word is True; You are our light and refuge. Amen!

We are grateful for Jim’s website here, and are blessed we are free to pray here.
