Beloved FReeper FRiends, please keep me in your prayers for healing. I’ve been suffering quite the bout of gastrointestinal malady, including nausea. I am doing my best to keep my potassium levels up, stay hydrated and keep my blood sugar up. I am keeping a close eye on things and if necessary go to my local ER for evaluation/treatment.
I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES. AND I KNOW HE HEALS.

Good advice - ER’s can help.
the good Lord has created many micro organisms that are very beneficial to the intestines and also help fight dangerous micro organisms. These are called Probiotics and are sold in the milk bottle area of a store near the Yogurt. Buy some of them, perhaps several different brands as while they often contain 10 or 12 types of these organisms, some have ones that others do not. Just drink a cup or two a day, or 1/2 a cup with every meal or snack. Soon your gut will be much happier.
Of course you should also seek good medical advice, but since you often have to wait a few days for an appointment, you can be using a probiotic or Kefir beverage in the meantime, unless your are diabetic and cannot tolerate the moderate sugar content in the sweetened varieties, which is most of them.
There’s another sidebar I read tonight about using “prebiotics”, which turn out to be inulin-containing supplements, most of which are made from chicory, but the Jerusalem Artichoke (marketing geniuses tried changing the name to Sunchokes, not realizing I guess that the “choke” part was what they needed to get rid of) is a form of sunflower (the name Jerusalem is a corruption of the Italian word for sunflower, the artichoke part is due to someone’s having observed that the flavor is similar to actual artichokes; citation, Louise Riotte), but the edible part is the root.
Have been advised not to supplement until I am fully back on solid food, which right now I’m efforting to do. Once done I’ll be back on Bs, my C-1000, and other vitamins per my physician’s recommendation.
Really ready to get to that point, and I know I will. I’ve just been incredibly sick and I know it takes time. In the meantime I’m treating with homeopathy and it’s thus far working. And lots and lots of resting and as much sleep as I can get. And hydration like crazy.
I’m taking E-Coli remedy and Dysentery homeopathic remedies. I believe it’s working. Can’t tolerate any script meds.
Don’t have my gallbladder anymore but I’ll keep an eye on temp. Thus far through this whole process, none. No pain thus far, just trying to keep my tummy tranquil and it’s fine if I don’t push at it with too much of my BRAT diet too hurriedly.
Going to add bits of fresh roasted chicken tomorrow at least 2x a day.

Doctors are really focused on things like potassium levels and macrobiotics and chemical and drug reaction issues when 99% of all GI problems are lifestyle caused.
Stop drinking, stop smoking, get right with every family member no matter how dysfuntional they are, eat three sensible meals every day at the same time get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep and unless you have GI cancer it will all go away.
Cast all your care upon Him; for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
