Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!

Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Father, We thank You for the unity we have as believers and the ability and privilege we have to be able to come to You in prayer.

We thank You that in addition to each other, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are also both interceding for us according to Your will

We lift up our families, our churches, and our nation, all areas where unity is foundational to giving them strength. All are under attack from the Enemy who is trying to break the strength that we have in those institutions.

We ask for Your protection of marriages, that You would give both husband and wife grace and understanding in their relationships with You. Keep them strong in Your word and in good church fellowships. Give them supernatural wisdom in raising their children to grow into godly men and women.

We ask for our pastors and elders that they would stay close to You in prayer and Biblical teaching. Keep them true to Your word and give them strength to not compromise on moral issues. Please motivate churches to bring back midweek prayer services. Let their importance in this spiritual battle be recognized.

We pray for our government that You would move Your hand in the hearts and lives of those in political office. Let them be reconciled to You either through salvation where it is needed, or through whole hearted commitment. Especially protect those and their families who know you. Keep them safe from temptation and compromise in their personal and political lives, and even physical attack.

Thank You Father for hearing and answering our prayers and the confidence we have knowing that when we pray according to Your will.
