FATHER GOD,

Who may worship in Your sanctuary, LORD? Who may enter Your presence on Your holy hill?

Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
Those who despise flagrant sinners, and honor the faithful followers of the LORD, and keep their promises even when it hurts.
Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent.

Such people will stand firm forever. (Psalm 15)

LORD, we stand upon Your Promises in 2 Chronicles 7:14.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.

At the beginning of a New Year, may we rededicate ourselves to You. May our lives reflect the standards in Psalm 15 so that we may worship in Your sanctuary and enter Your presence on Your holy hill.

Our nation is at the crossroads between freedom and tyranny. May believers support those candidates who adhere to Biblical values. May we not stand for unconstitutional thievery of elections via unethical means. Place Your candidates in their respective positions.

Vindicate President Trump and return him to his rightful seat in the Oval Office. Bring every politician and entities who plotted and/or supported this coup to justice. Protect the Trump family, his inner circle, and all who love liberty. Free the January 6 political prisoners, and all who have been impoverished, imprisoned, and vilified for the love of country and Your Name’s sake.

Save us from plagues and disease. May people be healed as they look at the Cross just like the Israelites looked at the bronze snake in Moses’ day when the Israelites rebelled against You.

Then the people of Israel set out from Mount Hor, taking the road to the Red Sea to go around the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient with the long journey, and they began to speak against GOD and Moses. “Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?” they complained. “There is nothing to eat here and nothing to drink. And we hate this horrible manna!”

So, the LORD sent poisonous snakes among the people, and many were bitten and died. Then the people came to Moses and cried out, “We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Pray that the LORD will take away the snakes.” So, Moses prayed for the people.

Then the LORD told him, “Make a replica of a poisonous snake and attach it to a pole. All who are bitten will live if they simply look at it!” So, Moses made a snake out of bronze and attached it to a pole. Then anyone who was bitten by a snake could look at the bronze snake and be healed! (Numbers 21:4-9)

And as Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness, so the SON of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life. (John 3:14) But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left GOD'S paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all. (Isaiah 53:5-6)

JESUS, be the center of our lives. In Your Holy Name we pray. AMEN.

Prayer Of Intercession For Our Nation

Heavenly Father, we come to You today to intercede for our nation and the nations of the world that are in such commotion and disarray, and are so antagonistic towards You, and hateful towards the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for the sins of the world. Lord, there are so many that have been blinded by the lies of the enemy and who have been prevented from seeing the glorious gospel of the grace of God, but are entrapped by Satan and a slave to sin.

Lord, it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to faith in Jesus Christ, and so we pray that You would look down with pity on the nations of the world and the many that are dead in their sins, and who face an eternity - separated from their Creator. Open the eyes of those that are spiritually blind and unblock the ears of those that are spiritually deaf.

Soften the hearts of those that have pridefully rejected the free gift of salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and draw many we pray, who are spiritually lost into a saving faith in Christ. We pray against the many different strongholds that are imprisoning the hearts and minds of so many, and ask that the satanic deceptions that have entrapped so many, will be exposed for what they are.

Shine down the sunshine of Your hope into this lost and dying world, and help us not to grow weary in interceding, but rather may we find the grace to plead more intensely, knowing that the time is so short. We ask this in Jesus’ name,
