Almighty GOD,

Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. ~ Proverbs 14:34

You are our Mighty Fortress, our Refuge, and the GOD in Whom we place our trust. As our nation faces great distress and uncertainty, we ask Your HOLY SPIRIT to fall afresh upon Your people — convict us of sin and inflame within us a passion to pray for our land and its people. Grant the leaders of our country an awareness of their desperate need of wisdom and salvation in You until sin becomes a reproach to all and righteousness exalts this nation.

Protect and defend us against our enemies and may the cause of CHRIST always prevail in our schools, courts, homes, and churches. LORD GOD send a SPIRIT of revival and may it begin in our own hearts.

Remember America, we pray. Remember the foundations on which this country was built. Remember the prayers of our nation’s fathers and mothers, and do not forget us in our time of need.

In the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

For America As A Nation Who Has Lost Its Way

Loving Lord, I come to You to place the once great nation of United States of America at Your feet, knowing that our great country and it’s constitution was made for a moral and religious people and is wholly inadequate for any other form of government, and yet we have strayed so far from the principles and practices of our great founders, who drew up our constitution based on Your Word.

But Lord, although this was once the land of the brave and the home of the free, sadly there is so much that is wrong with our country that I fear for its future. Lord, as a people we have walked away from You and discredited Your holy name by the way that we have conducted ourselves over the past few years and there is no health in our land.

Look down in pity on our people and our land, and protect us from those that seem determined on destroying our nation. Send Your Spirit I pray, through the land of America, and touch the hearts of all those that are called by Your name to plead on behalf our people. Convict those that are damaging our infrastructure and as a nation may we turn away from our wicked ways and return You to Your rightful position, in integrity and truth.

I ask this in Jesus’ Name, amen.

Prayer in regard to President Trump.

Prayer For Protection In A Hostile Environment

Heavenly Father, You are my hiding place and the rock of my salvation and I come before You today and thank You that You have promised to be with me wherever I go, and to guide me in whatever I do. Lord, as I set out on my journey through today, I pray that I may walk in Your ways and would hear Your still small voice gently prompting me in the direction You would have me to go.

Keep me under the shadow of Your wing and grant me protection Father, from all the perils and dangers as I step out into the unknown of “today,” knowing that You have scheduled each day of my life and nothing can happen to me of which You are unaware.

Lord, You know the dangers that I may face today in this hostile environment in which I live, but I am placing my trust in You. I know that the angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him and delivers them. Thank You that You are with me even when I walk through the blackest valley for my trust is in You. May You be glorified in all I say and do today. In Jesus’ name I pray,
