We look at Paul with Timothy, and our hearts are connected to his concern for “his son” in the faith, as we are concerned for our sons and daughters, and our grandchildren.
First, LORD, hear our prayer through his writing: “my beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord . . . my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2 Tim. 1:2, 2:1)
Oh Dear LORD, we pray over our children. May they grown in the Grace and Knowledge of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Connect them to people who know YOU LORD, who love YOU LORD, who obey and trust YOU LORD, who walk in Truth and worship in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. Remind them of YOUR MERCY when they fall, when they are weak, when they are in need, when they are doubtful. It is a great comfort to rest in YOUR COMPASSIONS. And Dear LORD, please, give them YOUR PEACE. Encourage them to not fret over the tyrannies of the political correct, the fear mongers of control and deceit, and the false narratives of the media, but instead, draw them deeper into YOUR WORD, the PEACE of GOD, that will guard their hearts and minds in CHRIST JESUS. AMEN.
We continue: “You have observed my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfast endurance, my persecutions, my sufferings— Indeed, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Tim. 3:10-13) Dear LORD, we thank you for helping us as parents, as weak as we are, to train our children in the ways of the LORD. We may not have been as steadfast as Paul, but we desired as much for them. Bring to remembrance the faith that was instilled in our children, give them the desire to live godly, strengthen them in the holy scriptures that they were taught and were convinced of. Give them wisdom and discernment, strength and zeal to continue on in the faith and raise their children to do the same.
LORD, we pray: Remember this! The Lord—and the Lord alone—is our God. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Never forget these commands that I am giving you today. Teach them to your children. Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working. Tie them on your arms and wear them on your foreheads as a reminder. Write them on the doorposts of your houses and on your gates. (Duet. 6:4-9)
AMEN.
. . . “when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Let us pray, thank you. Love, Jean

Lord, we lift up those who work in schools and have influence upon children. We pray that any broken adults would be found out and removed from their positions. If schools cannot safeguard the minds of children, we pray that these schools be shut down.
Amen to every word of your prayer, Dear Jeanbl, in Jesus Name.
Amen! Praying in agreement for our children, small and grown, and grandchildren. For all the innocent children in the world that they come to know Jesus as Savior and King.
Prayer For Biblical Virtues For My Children
Loving Lord, I pray that my children will come to a knowledge of the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ, crucified and risen from the dead for their forgiveness of sins, their salvation and eternal life. I pray they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ, and that they learn to live a life that is pleasing to You.
Give them integrity in their dealings with others and a heart that seeks after truth and virtue. Develop in them a wisdom, alertness and self-control in all they set their hearts to achieve.
May Your Word become a sweet joy to them and may they be endowed with the fruit of the Spirit and grow in love and compassion, mercy and patience, goodness, kindness and purity.
Above all Lord, give them a servants heart to serve You and others in the strength and power of the Holy Spirit. Give them open doors of opportunity, so that they may serve You wherever You choose to place them. Give them a willingness and ability to work and a grateful heart that is contented with what they have. Lead them into the way of truth all the days of their lives. In Jesus’ name I pray,
Amen.
