After a dramatic weekend in which it seemed that a bloody civil war was about to erupt in Russia — and the future of Vladimir Putin seemed very much in doubt — world leaders, intelligence agencies and journalists around the world are baffled and asking critical questions.
What does the future now hold for the Russian Federation?
What does the future hold for Putin personally?
Has Putin been fatally weakened — or dramatically strengthened — by this showdown with mutinous rebels?
And what does the future now hold for the people of Ukraine?
Are Ukrainians safer now that Yevgeny Prigozhin and his Wagner group of Kremlin-financed rebels have been humiliated and Prigozhin has been forced into exile?
Or is Putin going to dramatically escalate his offensive against Ukraine — even use tactical nuclear weapons — to reassert the “fear factor” that he needs to dominate his people as well as his neighbors?

Your one to talk about morals when Russia has a leader who sends young men to death without even a care or gratitude for being literal slaves to his ambitions.
Russia sells it’s women as prostitutes.
Most of the population would rather live elsewhere than there, but they can’t move due to the massive poverty.
Abortion is higher in Russia than here - if you are going to leverage charges at least be honest.
And your opinion of me makes no difference to me.
I see how you post to others and the fact that I take you on with your BS makes me “sorry”.
Laughable...
Stop pinging me then on this forum and acting like an instigator with an ax to grind.
Speaking of grudges...(your words).
Don’t ping me again.
I didn’t ping you this time. You did that to me. My post #19 was to odawg, not you. Your post #29 was to me. So quit pinging me, backatcha.
You know you’re right. I pinged you first. Fair.
Make that last one your last ping to me.
This is my last to you.
Maybe so. I can only tell you two things with certainty:
1. Those are the census-established and published numbers, not mine.
2. I’m not part of the 70%. Ive been agnostic my entire adult life.
Well, three:
3. My tagline and Rule of Life #5 are more relevant than ever before.
We are a far more Christian nation than Russia, vastly more.
Russia has almost zero church-going Christians, with only1% on Christmas, they only have a government-affiliated state church in a ceremonial role.
“In Russia the Orthodox celebrations of last Christmas, according to police assessments, were attended by 1 million 400 thousand people, equal to 1% of the population. It is a clearly lower figure than that of 5 or 10 years ago; however not everyone accepts it: some say the police didn’t count correctly; in any case, no type of calculation records a presence of the faithful higher than 3%, and in one of the major holidays.”
Not necessarily in our time.
Revival in Africa and Asia suggest “God is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Likewise, the moral cesspool of the West, including the USA, suggests that countries rejecting the LGBTQ religion might have better standing with the Almighty at this point in time.
The “great falling away” would include these newly evangelistically on-fire regions of the world. Therefore, it is still future, even if only a relatively brief period of time.
So the faith died -- there are still many strong believers, but there are many who just worship the state.
I feel sorry for the Russians - smart people with a horrific government and one in a long line of horrific governments dating back to the 15th century
The Russkis will be riding on horses???
No.
Why not riding on horses? After all, a lot of them don’t even have toilets, much less automobiles.
If we continue on this trajectory our technology will surpass the technology talked about in Daniel and Revelation.
Musk and others are talking about colonizing the moon and Mars - that will never happen per Scripture. Revelation always refers to those during the Tribulation as “Earth Dwellers”.
AI, CBDC, and other tracking technologies are here. The AI inspired “Image of the Beast” that has the power to kill people who disobey is more than likely here now - we just haven’t seen it yet on the other side of the classified details.
I really think we’re close - and I could be wrong, but there are too many indicators and alarms going off that indicate that it’s not too far away.
You are correct. I’ve believed that for many years.
Russia still has a port in Syria, still allied with Turkey and Syria and has a road route to the ME via Georgia.
All it would take is Syria or Turkey to get involved( more than the Kurds) and NATO or no NATO Russia might( maybe) feel obligated after this war and Turkey verbalizing.
Being allied with China is a big deal also.
I don’t know how it’ll play out with the,”hooks in his jaw,” thing.
