Talk about the fall of civilization...
VIDEO AT SITE...........
The Lord's Prayer is the most recited prayer in the world, spoken by billions of Christians weekly. Believers teach their children to recite it from a young age. It has been this way for thousands of years.
But three educated contestants on a trivia show in the most powerful nation in history, a nation founded on Christian teaching, didn't know what 4-year-olds in African churches know. Unreal.

Seriously? @socalpackerfan1 · Follow I'm an atheist and even I knew the answer to that lord's prayer question. #Jeopardy 11:48 PM · Jun 14, 2023 6 Reply Share

"Hallowed" comes from the Greek term "hagiazó," which means "holy, set apart, sanctified, sacred, special." Strong's Bible Concordance notes it means "to separate from things profane and dedicate to God, to consecrate and so render inviolable." God is wholly good and perfect; He is incorruptible and pure, without blemish or flaw.
Since our world so badly needs the light of God's Word, here's what Jesus taught on prayer in Matthew Chapter 6:

Pathetic.
Well, to be fair, these days, you probably have to pass some sort of leftist/lgbtqiwxyz++ test just to be selected as a contestant. So, maybe this isn’t all that shocking.
They are truly in real jeopardy.
"Would you like to be a contestant on our game show on Sodomite Central?"
"Definitely not."
I am surprised. I thought it would be The Salah which muslims perform 5x a day. Though there are billions of Christians I would not have thought that most pray the Lord’s Prayer every day.
What was the clue?
Baptist pastor here. If anyone cares for getting technicalities correct, the “Lord’s prayer” is the one the Lord Himself prayed which is recorded in John 17. The Pater noster was originally called, and ought properly to be called the “model prayer” and is included in the Sermon on the Mount. Sometimes I have heard it called, or I myself have called it the “disciples prayer”. We are not supposed to recite it. We should rather model our own prayers after it.
IMHO it is utterly unremarkable that people who are the products of our government pagan educational system should know nothing of God or religion. They know how to recycle and how to vote for Democrats. What else would they need?
Notice that Jesus did not pray to himself, but ‘OUR FATHER’..................
In fairness, if you look at the video, two of the three contestants were in the red so probably not in the best mind frame and certainly not in a mood for taking guesses if uncertain—which is also a bad strategy is one is up against two people that are dumber than dirt.
John 17 is more commonly known as the “High Priestly Prayer” but if we were starting from scratch, I’d be willing to support you.
I’m more of a trad Catholic myself, so “the Pater noster” or “a Pater” works for me. The Our Father also works.
Bkmrk
It used to be that most prayed it at least three, if not five, times a day. Practicing Catholics who are somewhat devout will often get it in 3-30 times depending on what they are doing—but if they are getting it in 30 times, I’d bet that they are getting in between 100 and 200 Aves.

Unchurched humble servant here.
You have been well taught in the inerrant Word of God.
Good one.
“Our Father, which art in heaven, ____THIS____ be thy Name.”
Fill in the blank..............
Possibly none of those 3 contestants are Christians.
Jeopardy! has been pretty pathetic the last couple of weeks anyway. That Indian guy who won 6 games only did so because his opponents were even worse. He won’t last long in the tournament.
That show needs to go away.
MATTHEW 6:9 SAYS, “OUR FATHER WHICH ART IN HEAVEN”, THIS “BE THY NAME”
