Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Roman catholic church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday.

Well, when is/was the FIRST day, and how have you measured all the sevens from then?
The actual point in time of any Sabbath is just an arbitrary human construction, and it has changed many times (and probably never been really correct.)
I stick to the apparent fact that God wanted us to take A DAY. I don’t think He cares what day it is.
It's only apparent if you ignore what God says in the bible.
Well, when is/was the FIRST day, and how have you measured all the sevens from then?
Christ rose from the Grave on the FIRST day. The day before that, when He “rested” in the grave, was the SEVENTH day. Could not be made more clear than that.
Thanks for those verses.
The legalist hypocrites that post on Saturdays need to pull the beam from their eye 🙂
They also make their converts twice a son of hell. He was absolutely talking about those types.
Matthew 23:15
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.“

Paul was a legalist?
No one who ever lived was a commandment keeper - except Jesus.
I know your cult ignores the cross which is why you are heavily works based (pride).
You boasting about being a commandment keeper makes a mockery of the cross and Jesus’s sacrifice.
Hence why you follow a “prophetess” that was demonically possessed.
You’re boring Phil…
The Sabbath was instituted long before Jesus came along or was even prophesied.
It seems to me that it’s actually reckoned from the Creation.
I don’t care which man, at which time, made the first human calendar. But I’m pretty sure God hasn’t been concerned with paying attention to it.
(We apparently don’t even celebrate Christmas when Jesus was actually born - but that doesn’t make the celebration any less meaningful.)

Have you recently smoked crack?

Yes, but I don’t have to go all the way back to creation to know what day of the week Christ kept HIS Sabbath or what day He rose from the grave. It’s in the bible. And, the 7 day cycle has been kept since.
It’s probably a good idea to consider God. Jesus wouldn’t have been here without His Father.
not sure what you’re trying to say here....
Maybe he doesn’t want to deal with your crap, like in post 327? But, I don’t mind. Keep it coming please. May I have another?
——>Who is “she”?
The Whore of Babylon, among other titles/names.
——>No denomination is above the written word of God and Catholicism, despite its claims, does not have authority to change Scripture.
Yet, you still follow Rome.
This is why everyone Avoids Those
Catholic Caucus...
Catholic Caustic is more like it.
What Do You Want Here ?
——>That is quite clear. Work six days. Honor the seventh day. What does it matter what day that is? A nurse might be scheduled to work on weekends. She honors the Sabbath on her first day off.
Nope, it’s a very specific day....THE 7th-day-Sabbath, which commemorates creation and the Creator. BTW, I’m a nurse, and I “work” on the Sabbath, caring for the sick. (lawful to do good on the Sabbath).
