Most Christians assume that Sunday is the biblically approved day of worship. The Roman catholic church protests that it transferred Christian worship from the biblical Sabbath (Saturday) to Sunday, and that to try to argue that the change was made in the Bible is both dishonest and a denial of Catholic authority. If Protestantism wants to base its teachings only on the Bible, it should worship on Saturday.

Duh, if we use common sense, God wouldn’t have had to tell Noah what animals were clean and which ones weren’t. Noah would have already known from generations before.

All one would have to do is go back to the days that Christ was on this earth. It’s His day and I’m sure he knew exactly when it was. Or, go back to Mount Sinai. That’s when the Jews have been keeping track of it. The day has not been lost.

The Sabbath ends at sundown. Saturday evening is Sunday. And, the commandment tells us to keep the day holy, not just go to a meeting.

The Ten Commandments were for everyone, not just the Jews, and though they often failed to adhere to it, that did not change with Jesus. He too observed the Sabbath, on the 7th day - not the 8th or the 1st. The New Covenant did not end the Commandments of the Ten Commandments - all of them. And it makes to sense that only the 4th would no longer be one of the Ten Commandments God asks all to uphold.

Please show all of us the command from Christ, from the bible, making that true. The command would have to come from Christ and only Him. The New Covenant went into effect at His death and His blood sealed it. The bible is absolutely void of any such command/change.

The New Covenant came into effect with the sacrifice, shedding of blood, and death of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. As this Testament of Jesus Christ was put into effect by His death, the terms of the Testament cannot be changed by anyone after that.
Gal 3:15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though it be but a man’s covenant, yet if it be confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto.
A covenant, testament or will cannot be changed by anyone once the testator has died. Paul in Hebrews 9 is saying that the New Covenant is the last will and testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and as such it is not subject to alteration or annulment of its terms Gal 3:15. The terms of the New Covenant, in effect from the moment of the death of Jesus, and not subject to change by anyone, are the Ten Commandments of God. The Ark of the Covenant / Ark of the Testimony contained the substance or terms of both covenants, the Ten Commandments. It is impossible that the Sabbath commandment could be changed, that Sunday could replace the Sabbath in the New Covenant, after the death of Jesus on the cross! To attempt to change the terms of a last will or testament after the death of the testator is illegal and fraudulent in any court of law.
What’s amazing is the response to this thread. Prophecy before our very eyes. They united across all denominations and beliefs on Sunday. Rome can sense this too. She bides her time.

We get the seal of God. The masses, as you saw here...get the mark of the beast and are very intolerant people. They play right into Rome’s hands and they are angry because the world is imploding , they are losing everything and somebody has to be blamed.
Church and state put Jesus on the cross....and it will once again persecute those who are faithful to God’s commandments. The 2 beasts in Revelation 13. Spot on. Rome is laughing at the sunday keeping Protestants who claim the Bible alone for doctrine. She changed it, and the protestants have no answer. That’s why the Bible talks about the whore and her daughters. Boom.....
But it’s not to late to “come out of her my people”....many in the world are accepting the Sabbath because they are reading the Bible for themselves and are being led by the Holy Spirit. The idea the Sabbath has changes in scripture is laughable. Jesus said NOT ONE JOT OR TITTLE till heaven and earth pass away. He fulfilled the law.....he didn’t destroy it.

In fact, back in the day, they actually kept Sunday as a Sabbath and I believe God honored that. It was in ignorance but they kept it , the whole day. In the first episode of All in the family, Edith mentions the “Sabbath” and how they shouldn’ argue on the Sabbath. It was Sunday but at least they knew it was a whole day.
And in an episode of Andy Griffith, there’s a scene of them coming out of church and they are saying...”good Sabbath”......wrong day.......but right way...and I think God honored that. But he restoring the Sabbath to expose the beast and make her angry. Her and her daughters.....as you see here...they got angry! wow.....

I have often been accused of being part of a cult for keeping the law of God, out of love for what He did for me on the cross, exactly as He has asked me/Christians to do. The animosity towards the Sabbath is especially palpable. It will literally be humanity’s last chance on this earth at the end, to show whose authority they follow. Those who choose anything other than Christ’s 7th-day-Sabbath will receive the mark of the beast. God’s remnant church keeps His commandments.
