——>But, I don’t think God is concerned with a Saturday or a Sunday, as long as we’re keeping one day of the week holy and set aside for Him and our rest and recovery.
Well, seeing as how the Sabbath is His seal of Authority, He commands it, and said to REMEMBER it, I can’t see how you could be correct.
Just a question for thought: What about the countries around the world that utilize the Gregorian calendar with Monday as the first day of the week (most except for the US, Canada, and a few others)? Would the Sabbath, then, not be Sunday...the seventh day?
I’m not arguing that Sunday is the actual or original Sabbath. I’m not trying to convince you that observing the Sabbath on Saturday is wrong. I’m not trying to cause consternation with my questions or statements.
If your conviction is that the Sabbath is one or the other, then follow your conviction. I will continue to observe the Sabbath on Sunday with my church where I will praise God Almighty, thank Jesus for his sacrifice and resurrection, and pray the Spirit fills me with vigor for spreading the Gospel.
If my church decides to move to a Saturday Sabbath observation, then I will do all those things on Saturday.
