This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

FATHER GOD,

We lift up President Trump to in prayer tonight. His enemies are determined to strike him down and prevent him from running for office. We echo the prayer of the Psalmist on his behalf.

Come with great power, O GOD, and rescue me! Defend me with Your might. Listen to my prayer, O GOD. Pay attention to my plea. For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They care nothing for God.

But GOD is my helper. The LORD keeps me alive! May the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them. Do as You promised and put an end to them.

I will sacrifice a voluntary offering to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good. For You have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies. (Psalm 54)

May President Trump and all who love You cling to these promises:

We are hunted down, but never abandoned by GOD. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:9)

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly GOD loves us, because he has given us the HOLY SPIRIT to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:3-4)

Place a shield of protection around our beloved President, his family and inner circle. Surround him with warrior angels and give him wise counsel. May President Trump keep his eyes on You and Your perfect love that casts out fear

Muddle the minds of his enemies and cause their evil plans to be turned against them. Bring his enemies to justice and permanently remove them from power. These powers that be seek to destroy President Trump, but their ultimate goal is to destroy We the People and bring this nation to its knees.

Draw near to us, LORD, during these perilous times. You promise to never leave us nor forsake us and You cause everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to Your purpose for us. (Romans 8:28)

We praise You in the midst of the storm. Our praise will be forever on our lips.

Precious and most Holy Heavenly Father, We bow before You right now, in humility and repentance.

Lord God please forgive us for any sins, both knowing and unknowing that we have committed against You. Deliver us oh Father from the clutches of our enemy , Satan.

Heavenly Father God, we lift up President Trump, the January 6 prisoners, and those who are persecuted for their religion or politics.

We pray that they lean into You, that they may be shielded from abuse.

We pray for their persecutors. May they be shamed of their hatred, repent, and seek fellowship with You before it is too late.

We pray that all this drama will put spotlight on the ugliness and brokenness of man, that we need a Savior, and His name is Jesus Christ.

We pray that more people will recognize that the “judicial system” is built upon lies and will call for reform.

We pray that this wreck will be used to glorify Your Name.
