Why is God, Our Loving Father, Permitting the Worsening Crisis in the Church and World?

At some point, enough Catholics will wake up to the fact that Francis is a logical fruit of Vatican II; when we do that, we will follow the counsels of Pius XII and his predecessors who insisted that we make no compromises with the Liberalism and Modernism that infected the Council. Until that happens, we should expect God to permit the crisis in the Church and world to grow worse until we can no longer afford to maintain “our lukewarmness, our silence, our inclination to compromise, our hypocrisies, our yielding to the spirit of the world and the errors of the dominant ideologies.” God is allowing this because, as a loving Father, He would rather us suffer and save our souls than comfortably slide to perdition.

Because God is not in control of the Catholic church, not need he be. Sometimes men feel they know more than God and force Him out. The Episcopal Church suffered the same demise. And God probably smiles. He will always be in control as the many organized religions stray, God is constant. If you seek Him, you will find He is still there.

I don’t think it’s God punishing - He’s just letting ‘man’s sin’ run it’s course.

The preachers in catholic churches will have a lot to answer for. They turned millions, perhaps billions, away from the true gospel.

Every mass, they call Jesus down to put him on the cross and sacrifice him again. Out of all the heresies, that is the worst.

The 2nd worse is the pope calling himself a representative of Jesus in human form.

Then you have the flock calling a mere preacher “father” when the bible forbids it

Time to fish or cut bait. Francis has given you a choice: be a Catholic or be a Christian. There was a time when you could be both, but that time is over. Pick up your Cross and follow Jesus. Chose life.

We also cannot see the whole picture or into the future. There may be reasons behind what’s happening. God said not to worry about politics, pay your taxes and live a righteous life. He also said to rejoice when you’re persecuted. We do neither. I have faith that even what looks terrible is for a higher purpose. I try to ‘fear not’
Perhaps we are being tested?

God is control of everything. He is omnipotent.

It is not up to us to question His permissive will.

At most the stage is being set for what will one day come.....we just see it more vividly at various times.
