(LifeSiteNews) — The head of the German bishops’ conference has declared that he does not want to “accept an irrevocable ‘No’ from the Vatican” regarding the ordination of women priests.
According to a report by the German bishops’ own news site katholisch.de, Bishop Georg Bätzing said that “even if Rome sees this point as settled, it is still an urgent question” that has been asked and is therefore “on the table.”
Bätzing stressed that women are the central issue for the future.
“Access to the ecclesiastical office must be opened up, or it is hard to imagine the future of the Church in our country,” the prelate said.
“We must vigorously defend our German causes,” he proclaimed.
At the same time, he also dampened expectations that celibacy for priests would be lifted and women admitted to the ordained ministry at the end of the German Synodal Way.
“On Universal Church issues, we can only ask for our concerns to be processed,” Bätzing said. “We are doing what is possible.”

Thus is the idiocy of the “Catholic left.” Everything they ask for... womenpriests, homo-sex “marriage,” out-and-proud homosexual clergy, approval of sodomy, approval of contraception/abortion... is already available at the liberal protestant denomination near you... that is doing even worse than Catholicism.

I've become convinced that this is true. Why? Mary.
Look at all the attacks on women, from these issues in the Church to the abortion controversy to transgender rights. It is because Satan hates Mary and wants to discredit her. Food for thought.
Catholics honor Mary most among all human persons. And yes, all Hell harbors a burning hatred for her.
But she was not a priest.
Because being a priest has nothing to do with being “worthy”, nor does anyone have a “right” to be a priest. It is a vocation called by God. Our place is to honor and respect God’s choices, rather than tell him what he should do (in our ‘superior’ wisdom). This German bishop does not understand authority at all, and places himself above God. This will not end well.
