A teacher who refused to use preferred pronouns has landed himself in prison.
Standing up to trans ideology can come at a huge personal cost. And few have paid a heavier price than Irish schoolteacher Enoch Burke. Burke’s refusal to use a pupil’s preferred pronouns set off a chain of events that have now landed him in prison.
Burke’s journey to a cell began in May. The headmistress of his school, the Wilson’s Hospital School in County Westmeath, issued a request to staff to refer to a transitioning male pupil using the pronoun ‘they’. Burke refused, arguing that transgenderism was incompatible not only with his own religious beliefs as an evangelical Christian, but also with the school’s ethos as a Church of Ireland school. He is also alleged to have challenged the head, in a ‘heated’ manner, during a school function in June, asking her to withdraw her request for him to use trans pronouns.
Burke was then suspended just before the start of the new autumn term, pending the outcome of a disciplinary process. But he refused to accept the suspension and continued to turn up at the school. He would mostly sit in an empty classroom.
As Burke continued to defy the suspension, the school’s management obtained an injunction against him. And then yesterday, when Burke turned up to school, the police arrested him for breaching the terms of the court order.
Although it was Burke’s breach of the injunction that ultimately led to his imprisonment, what led him to this point is clear. There would have been no suspension and then no court order had he not refused to use the pupil’s preferred pronouns. Matters only escalated because adherence to trans ideology is now entirely non-negotiable. As Burke put it himself in court yesterday: ‘I am here today......

Demand to be called his/her/your majesty.
Whenever the trans-weirdos demand to be called plural pronouns like "they" it reminds of me Genesis 1:26's English translations using the plural pronouns for God: "Let us make man in our image.". Us Christians like to say it's a statement of God being a Trinity (which He is), but it's more of a statement of God being so majestic He deserves plural pronouns, especially for special occasions (like kings would sometimes refer to themselves on special occasions).
Maybe I'm too much of a Bible and history buff. But I find the demand to be called "they" about aristocratic.
Nobody expects the trans inquisition.
My pronoun is “Master.”
Imprisoned in Moutjoy Prison where the martyrs and heroes of the Irish freedom struggle were incarcerated, Have the Irish become so numb and demoralized that they have come to this?
Why should I use the pronoun “they”? Are there two or more of you? Or are you suffering from multiple personality disorder?
How about “I self identify as Grande Emperor Napoleon”?
what are my pronouns?
what day is it?
here is my schedule of pronouns

Imprisoned for using correct grammar (’they’ was never meant to be a singular pronoun, however commonly it is used in place of ‘him/her’ where gender is unknown). Wow. Ireland has lost her way bigly.

Greatly admire brave men like this who refuse to go along with the mental illness.
That is the best way to deal with this BS. Agree to their pronouns as long as they agree to yours. I would insist on “My Lord and Savior”. See how it goes.
Definitely butchering the other tongue by insisting on they to refer to a single person. Let’s replace he/she/they with a more accurate he/she/legion.
This case doesn't change my mind much. What do you think?
