Heavenly Father,

Sometimes waiting for Your hand to move seems very hard to do; yet we know that if we are patient, Your promise is to be gracious to us, to have mercy on us, and to exercise justice on our behalf. You fulfilled that promise for America in a mighty way this past Friday, Lord. You heard our voices and our supplications over many years, and You put in place the people and the plan to end the horrible government-sanctioned holocaust of abortion in our nation. Lord, we thank You for being the God of justice. You heard our voices and our supplications. You showed tremendous grace upon America. May we never forget.

Now, Lord, Author of Peace, will You please help us to seek peace in this nation and pursue it? We do not seek the peace of complacency or any compromise with evil. We seek the peace that comes from Your Word and obedience to Your truths. Embolden the Defenders of Life in each state who will continue to proclaim truth about the tragedy of abortion. Help them to share the truth of Christ’s forgiveness with those mothers and fathers who suffer the pain of previous abortions. May we all remember the unfailing power of the Precious Blood of Jesus and His finished work upon the Cross of Calvary.

Lord, we confess that much of America has turned away from You, but You acknowledge the presence of a Remnant that will remain on their knees, seeking Your Will for every state in this union. We confess that You are able to pull us out of the mirey clay and the dangerous territory that has become a playground for the lost. Send healing on the wings of Your Spirit, Dearest Lord, and may the pro-life states be beacons of light for those states that choose death and darkness for their most innocent.

We confess the protection mentioned in Psalm 91 over our pro-life workers, our Supreme Court justices, Legislators, over First Responders, the Churches and people loyal to Your Word, and all those who are working to help America be governed by Your truths and not by the intimidation tactics of the loud and angry. Please give Your angels charge over those who do what You require: who act justly, who love mercy, and who walk humbly with their God.

We thank You, Father, that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength, mounting up with wings like eagles, running without weariness, and walking without fainting. This is the heritage of those who fear You, Lord, for great is Your faithfulness. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. May we be that nation, Lord. And may You receive all the praise and glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
