Marjorie Taylor Greene: I Was Raised Catholic, but Wicked Bishops Have ‘Driven Me Away’ from the Church
LifeSite News ^ | 5/4/22 | Claire Chretien

‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.

(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.

“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.

The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”

“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.

“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”

“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”

Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

Haven’t we told them that, about 4 million times, and they still don’t get it?

Time makes more converts than reason.

Oh Glorious love, Shepherd of love, and many more. Both by John W Peterson, World War 2, Air Force pilot, but at that time, it was called the Army Air Corps. I think him, Kurt Kaiser and the Gaithers, are in a class by themselves.

As far as the rapture goes, I think 99% of Catholics will miss it. What is possible, is that after the rapture, millions of Catholics and Muslims, will suddenly figure out that what we have been telling them, right here on this forum, is true, and come to true faith in Christ. Right now, they reject Christ, but maybe they will figure it out later.
Catholics have faith in Jesus, but I keep saying, it’s not enough to have faith in Jesus. We must have faith in the RIGHT Jesus. The Jesus of the RCC, is NOT the Jesus of the Bible.

God told us to not eat the blood. Your religion not only contradicts God’s admonition

Well...MY God tells me...

15 there is NOTHING outside a person that by going in can defile,
but the things that come out are what defile."

And that is inerrant- God breathed inspired and divine scripture that disagrees with you.
There is more where that came from...

And so giving John 6 a rest for the day...
I want you to realize how your faith beliefs fall apart here.

Aren't you the one who says..."We are no Longer UNDER THE LAW"?
Haven't you even sided with those nutter Preachers who say "We are not even under the MORAL Law either anymore?
Even though Christ clearly says we must obey his commandments to abide in him?
You're gonna need to fix your "not being under the law" thing if you want to accuse Catholics of not following the law.

Your argument is bogus.
(Remember when the word "bogus" was used more often...)

The more important question you should be asking yourself is...
If I really Love Jesus-
why would I NOT want to be ONE FLESH with Jesus?
No doubt we are not worthy of the Supper of The Lamb...
But don't you want to be ONE with Christ in the Physical sense?

Or ask yourself... on hearing Christ words at Capernaum,
where HE triples down on eating his flesh, and drinking his blood to have eternal life, and if you were in The crowd that day...

Do you stay- or do you walk away?

No, I have not 'sided with' those deluded souls. But that doesn't stop you from attacking that strawman. You do not have the truth in you.

You are defending a deep and obnoxious blasphemy, catholic. And you are under the spell of magic thinking spewing from a devilish source. Even if you could snack on the flesh and blood of Jesus, you would not be snacking on the behavior mechanism and SPIRIT of God. You reject what is spoken to you in The Word of God, that God is SPIRIT, not some confection your cult priests can feed to you at a pagan altar after some mumbo jumbo magic incantation supposedly brings Jesus from the Throne room to your altars, as if your priest commands GOD! Your cult is the most pagan evidence of the spirit of antichrtist and you are lost to it!

When the Christians disappear suddenly, get on your knees and beg God to forgive your blasphemies and believe in faith alone on Christ alone depending. If you do not at that instant, well, you will remain as doomed as you are now.

You can tell them 4 million times, but it’s not getting through. I would call this militant apostasy. I wish they would repent and believe, but that’s on them. They will have much to answer for in the great white throne judgment. I don’t wish for that, but realistically, that’s where this is going. 👎

One of the few hymn writers of both lyrics and music of the 20th century. “So Send I You” makes me cry (Peterson’s original lyrics, not the newer one); I have so many friends and family on the mission field.

Our minister happened to be seated next to him on a cross-country flight and recognized him right away. Said it was one of the best conversations of his life.

“Right now, they reject Christ, but maybe they will figure it out later.”

I’ve heard that before. More often I hear that those who reject salvation now have been ruled out for the option during the tribulation. Time will tell.

Your misapplication of verse fifteen reveals your lack of spiritual discernment. It is the blasphemous ritual that defiles your spirit, not your stomachs because the confection goes through the alimentary tract and is expelled in the drought. But you have the slimmest of chances, since JESUS told you that blasphemies against Him can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

At the risk of annoying my friends, this is something that we are close to each other’s stance on. All foods ARE clean, and the admonition against blood has to do with ritual idol worship that was common at the time and was warned against in the same way that eating foods sacrificed to idols was warned against.

We have our differences of course, such as the exact nature of the Body and Blood of Christ and whether the nature of the bread and wine remains present alongside or is done away with entirely.

How does a Lutheran understand the statement that the life is in the blood? The admonitions given in the first books of Moses say to not eat the blood 'for the life is in the blood'. That goes further than merely admonition against eating food sacrificed to idols, eh?

And an additional note: if you can get the Life of God in you by eating the confection, why insist that the ritual be repeated so often? My understanding of the Life of God is that it is eternal, not teporary.

It seems that you pound the Catholic doctrine (and people) almost on a daily basis. Yet, your doctrinal beliefs on the PTR come from the JESUITS. The PTR theory comes from FUTURISM. It is directly linked and any of your false teachers or Prophets would know that. Yet, they perpetuate the lie in order to sell their books and trash. Amazing, isn’t it? So, remember the next time you dump on our Catholic friends, you are dumping on yourself (and KJ, AW, etc...) as a true believer in Jesuit Futurism PTR.

Your false teachers and prophets...

Francisco Ribera (Jesuit)
Cardinal Robert Bellarmine (Jesuit)
Michael Walpole (Jesuit)
Manuel De Lacunza (Jesuit)
Edward Irving
Margaret McDonald (ecstatic utterances)
Samuel Roffey Maitland
James H. Todd
John Henry Newman
John Nelson Darby
Arno C. Gaebelein
Cyrus Ingerson Scofield
Lewis Sperry Chafer

Dallas Theological Seminary is the key place where the Jesuit concepts were taught to thousands of Pastors, including today’s top TV and radio personalities.
