Marjorie Taylor Greene: I Was Raised Catholic, but Wicked Bishops Have ‘Driven Me Away’ from the Church

‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.

(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.

“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.

The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”

“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.

“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”

“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”

Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

They like to bring up the Sabbath as the seventh day because it is the only argument they can win. Even our calendar has Saturday as the seventh day. However the weeks are pinned to the solar year in every calendar. That is why Passover (and Easter) is not on the same day of the year every year but is on the same day of the week.

The earth actually turns almost 361 degrees from high noon to high noon giving an extra revolution every year. This too can be observed by looking at the stars over time. The proportion between weeks and years has not changed. The dates of the signs in the heavens were established when God set the sun, moon and stars in motion. We can see what the stars in the heaven looked like on the night of the Bethlehem Star when Jupiter stopped in retrograde. Every detail is part of God’s masterpiece.

I linked this in post #3122.

http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/feasts.htm

Did you read it? You should. It shows that the CEREMONIAL/SHADOW, Feasts/Festivals/Sabbaths followed the lunar/solar calendar, BUT NOT THE 7th-day-SABBATH. The 7th-day-Sabbath is INDEPENDENT of any calendar.

In fact, when one of the Ceremonial sabbaths falls on the 7th-day-Sabbath, it is called a High Sabbath. Luircin, MHG, Ampu, and Southernclaire can’t understand it, because they hate the 7th-day-Sabbath. They think that by keeping one of God’s commandments, they are working for their salvation, instead of showing their love to Jesus Christ for what He did for them on the cross. They treat God’s law as anathema. Maybe you’ll see it differently.

Hey broski. I did some studying on my own, about the mark of the beast. I found out what it is NOT. It is NOT Sunday worship, even if some cult member says it is. It’s not even close. I can’t imagine why anyone would ever think so. That is false doctrine.

So says the sleazy, lying, dead spirit SDA cultist: " Luircin, MHG, Ampu, and Southernclaire can’t understand it, because they hate the 7th-day-Sabbath."

You lie because the spirit driving your little religion wagon is the spirit of antichrist. And that is the last response you will get from this Christian. You belong to the spirit driving your little wagon. My Bible tells me to make an effort to share the Gospel of Grace with you, but it also tells me to leave you to your doom once you reject the Grace of God. You ar lost to trying to work to merit what by Grace alone offers. Keep insulting the sufficiency of Jesus as The Grace of God by trying to add your filthy rags works and you will succeed in working your way to Hell, for eternity.

Here's a last hint: Haman was hanged upon the gallows he built for Mordicai.

The order of the weekdays has NEVER changed since Jesus Christ created this world and rested on the 7th-day-Sabbath. No calendar change has ever “changed” that. The 7 day week is the same then as it is now, INDEPENDENT of any calendar or calendar change.

1: Sunday
2: Monday
3: Tuesday
4: Wednesday
5: Thursday
6: Friday
7: Saturday (7th-day-Sabbath).

No idea what you’re talking about. I’ve already accepted Grace. If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times. I now obey God because of Grace. You don’t. That, Professor, is LAWLESSNESS.

It’s just another made up lie by some lying liars to gain an ignorant following. It worked. It also clearly goes against the words of God in Revelation. Has “cult” written all over it, bro.

Not a very good hint, Professor. Haman tried to condemn God’s people, who kept His commandments. It backfired on him, like it very likely will on you.

Cults ever refuse the light
In favor of the night
They won’t be a sleuth
Never seeking truth
‘Cause they know it will bite
By any definition, the pre-tribulation rapture philosophy is a cult, created by Darby. It dates to the early 19th century America, just like the Adventist, Mormon, Jehovah's witnesses and Christian scientist cults

The early 19th century in the USA was a spawning point for many cults like the Adventists and the pre-tribulation rapture/Dispensationalism. The reason for this was that it was a new country, with a new "evangelizing" force to spread democracy and freedom and many people took that "freedom" too far as seen in the Mormons, Dispensationalists and Jehovah's witnesses - to reject all facts before them.

No matter how often it is shown to the poster that his characterization of Darby being the source of pretrib rapture is erroneous, the poster will continue to spout that lie. It is not interested in truth. It has an ego need to be ‘an authority’ even with lying as the basis for the ‘authority’.

The Adventists arose out of the Millerite movement -- note that the founder, William Miller, later repented of his dispensationalist view and rejected Millerism

But the Millerite movement continued with the Dispensationalist and rapture philosophy and branched off in strange and different ways

William Miller was initially a Baptist preacher who started going into the entire Darby pre-tribulation rapture thingie

. In September 1822, Miller formally stated his conclusions in a twenty-point document, including article 15, "I believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ is near, even at the door, even within twenty-one years,—on or before 1843."

As per the Millerite rapture philosophy, Jesus was due to return on October 22, 1844 - they were wrong

Charles T Russell the founder of the Jehovah's witnesses worked with an Adventist, Nelson H Barbour,
Russell quit company with Barbour because the two repeatedly disagreed about doctrine,
Taze and Barbour in 1876 wrote a magazine called “Herald of the Morning”. In that magazine, Barbour had present his calculations that Jesus had returned invisibly in 1874. Russel became a co-editor of that magazine. They also co-authored a book called “Three Worlds, and the Harvest of This World”
They parted company in 1878 when there was a dispute over the atonement ransom sacrifice of Jesus. Russell started the Watchtower magazine in 1879

you can see the parallels, strangely enough, in

Yeah, I’ve read Cronos’ “argument” against the Biblical pre-trib rapture. He’s Catholic so he’s gotta Catholic. Like Phil, he has no choice but to obey his masters ... funny hat dudes, and all.

Phil’s “church” bows down to Cronos’ “church” and pays gold tribute, so I guess Cronos feels the need to jump in every now and again for his little pet, Phil, and pat him on his little noggin for being a good little sub-cultist boy under Cronos’ cult. It’s all kind of funny to me to watch how they post on the same thread. They’re both cults to each other, but they will defend each other’s cults because they are in a cult themselves. Or something ... having my first coffee still.

Good morning, by the way.

Every one of you OSASers that hold Sunday as sacred, and hates the 7th-day-Sabbath, LITERALLY pledges allegiance to Lucifer, and you don’t even realize you’re doing it.
