‘Mrs. Greene's statement about leaving the Church is as enlightening as it is saddening,’ commented Michael Hichborn, president of the Lepanto Institute.
(LifeSiteNews) – Following criticism of comments she made about the U.S. Catholic bishops, conservative firebrand U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene revealed that she was raised Catholic but left the Church “with great sorrow” when she had kids because she had concerns about the left-wing hierarchy protecting abusive priests.
“With great sorrow, and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, I stopped attending Catholic Mass when I became a mother, because I realized that I could not trust the Church’s leadership to protect my children from pedophiles, and that they harbored monsters even in their own ranks,” the now-evangelical said in a lengthy statement.
The Georgia Republican was responding to the Catholic League’s Bill Donahue, who slammed her for suggesting in an interview with Church Militant’s Michael Voris that “Satan is controlling the Church.”
“The Church is not doing its job. And it’s not adhering to the teachings of Christ,” she added.
“It’s the Church leadership I was referring to when I invoked the Devil,” Greene clarified on Twitter. “Just so we’re clear, bishops, when I said ‘controlled by Satan,’ I wasn’t talking about the Catholic Church. I was talking about you.”
“The Catholic Church must throw out these monsters instead of lecturing the people its own bishops have driven away,” she continued, blasting the U.S. Catholic bishops as “some of the worst in the world” and “scheming bureaucrats in miters.” It was the “bishops’ wickedness” that drove her out of the Church, Greene said, and her own refusal to “submit the spiritual and physical livelihood of my children to these monsters.”
Greene, who is sometimes referred to as “MTG” (à la “AOC”), went on to say what many faithful Catholics who.......

This is not a battle…I am not your enemy…I am a child of God as are you. Why are you so ready to battle against God’s children? I have lived a good life and am not afraid to meet my Creator. Not understanding your anger.
Without trying to be too judgmental, what exactly, do you mean by that statement? I don’t want to be judgmental. 😀🤭🥓🍳
YOU are the one that called me out.
Are you not able to handle the consequences?
To: Elsie You are one of the most judgmental here Elsie. |
It didn't sound like Brotherly Love to me.
Maybe he is a cult member. I am automatically judgmental, oops, I mean suspicious, when someone says they led a good life. Not one person, ever, in history, has led a good life, not one, except Jesus. If that is being judgmental, so be it. I am always judgmental of cults, so, antceecee, don’t be in a cult, cuz I might get triggered, to be judgmental. 😀😂👍
Living a good life never got anyone into Heaven either.
Did the post come from Philly?
Thanks, MHG!
That little clue was a huge indicator!
No it hasn’t gotten anyone to Heaven. It might get them to Hell, but certainly won’t get them to Heaven. I have known cult members, who thought their good life would save them. It won’t.
I love it, Mark!
👍😀🥓🍳 How about some nice bacon and eggs? 🤗
Heck, yeah!!!
👍😂
What happened to the thread? 😀

—-> People who believe in OSAS, can’t sin after Grace
Absolutely a false statement
Guess again OTP...recent statements from your gaggle.
“The spirit of the born again cannot sin because God’s Life is abiding in that newborn spirit, IRREVOCABLY.”
“The born again spirit of a person cannot sin.
The soul can continue to choose sin, however.”
“If you have been born again then the Spirit of God abides in your spirit and IT cannot sin because God is there. The flesh? Not so much, it is trained to sin.”
“God has Promised that His seed abides in the spirit of the born again. And John tells us that where the seed of God abides THAT aspect of the born again members of The Body of Christ CANNOT sin.”
I have many more. You lose, AGAIN.
Where the seed of God abides (1 John 3:9) sin cannot happen. According to the writer of Hebrews, the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, able to separate soul and spirit. Apparently SDA cultists have been taught there is no distinction between soul and spirit. No wonder they are so easily duped by the lies and false prophecies of Ellen White!

Then you believe in the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which God hates. How does that feel, to believe and practice in something that God hates?
“They believed and said that a person is saved by grace and therefore it doesn’t matter how you live. By faith in Jesus Christ, the spirit of a person is saved, but since you are bound by the flesh, in which evil is present, you will always remain a sinner and always keep on sinning. You serve God through your spirit, but you keep serving your flesh and it’s lusts and desires during your life on earth.”
Oh, I see!
You fail to disnguish the *source* of sin from the person.
Yeah, you’ve messed up.
The life of Adam is the source of sin.
The life of Christ doesn’t sin.
Of course you fail to distinguish Christ’s Church from Israel too… so that’s not unusual.
