Just a query to those more knowledgeable and savvy, about church denominations.
Actually, I mean ANY division of organized Christian religion.
I am frustrated by so many churches now, with all the nonsense of the last 2 years. Paying homage to BLM and homos and bowing down to every COVID decree.
Everyone says what was our church, Lutheran Church - MO Synod (LCMS), is good for being true. However, after the riots started I saw a bit too much virtue-signaling. The only thing I can say was the website did not seem to specify blacks and BLM, but the statement seemed to be self-concsious again about looking like social justice proponents.
So, I’m thinking of looking for other churches, which might happen to be reasonably close to us.
My non denominational Bible church is totally not on board with LGBTQ or any of the divisive race BS. Church is full of families, singles, old people, kids successful people, average people, etc. Great place. DM if you want info… don’t want to give Christian hating lurkers a target.
Christian Missionary Alliance
Found a Catholic Church that has a conservative pastor and he’s become a friend.
Can’t say that about the other two priests who he works with.
When I asked him about it, he said “They’ll learn”.
I’m not so sure.
Amen. LCMS was found after a long trek. I wish I had found it sooner.
No, DON’T check out the Mormans. They’re good people, but mislead, and they are definitely NOT Christian. Explore their beliefs, and you will see they do NOT believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. They believe Satan and Jesus are brothers, they believe that those who get to Heaven will become gods, and a whole bunch of other crazy stuff that is NOT Biblical.
Go for independent churches, no denominations. Denominations, like labor unions, eventually migrate to the left.
Mormons? No, the Mormon god is very small and doesn’t actually exist.
Jesus is up in heaven just shaking his head. lol They still don’t get it.
Find a good "Christian Church of _______" or "__________ Christian Church". Those are usually very biblically based and have a good foundation.
spread it yourself
Currently the United Methodist Church is in the process of disintegration and separation. A super huge mess, yes! The orthodox, scriptural side of the debate is the Wesleyan Covenant Association (www.wesleyancovenant.org), which is acting as a "mid-wife" in the formation of a new orthodox Wesleyan denomination = the Global Methodist Church.
Go online and check out either WCA or Global Methodist Church. You may find a place to be.
I found one church in Calgary. Fairview Baptist Church. The Pastor was arrested by the Calgary Stasi, for not bending the knee and observing CCP-Coronavirus ‘protocols’.
My former church, Centre Street Church, has morphed into the Church of ‘Go Along To Get Along’. It had been a fairly strong evangelical church. Not any more.
May you be blessed in your search for a strong church that will not bow to Caesar, when Caesar goes against the Bible.
Christian and Missionary Alliance is still pretty solid. Individual churches can vary some but doctrinally, it’s set by headquarters.
One good suggestion is to go online and check out the video archive of any church you want to visit. It will give you a taste of what the preaching is like without the trouble of having to try a different one every Sunday and hoping you didn’t hit a bad week or guest speaker.
Interesting.
Wasn’t Vatican II Electric Boogaloo from 1968?
I belong to a church that’s part of Presbyterian Church of America (PCA). I highly recommend it. However your area is more liberal which also affects the churches.
Best way to find a new church is to go to a different one each week until you find one.
saddle up and get to the cowboy church
I personally believe ANY organized religion is prone to being run by Satan. Find a good non denominational church that solely puts God’s Word at the center of what they do and then YOU read the Bible every day. Do not depend on any church leader to tell you what the Word of God says.
and remember ALL churches are full of sinners...
Thanks!
The good thing is I already hit more than 50 replies!
