My wife and I thank God for a successful procedure for Daughter Bridget! They were able to find and use a laser to shatter the kidney stone and remove the pieces! She has a stint that will not require an additional procedure to remove. She is resting this evening and will probably be released tomorrow!

Prayers for FRiends and Family 2022

I believe that God wants us to know how much He Loves us and that

He very much desires to hear our personal prayers so

in His Kindness and Mercy grants our humble requests

not always but often in the exact manner we expect and so

I think it’s very important for the people that pray

to learn of how their prayers are answered.

Thread Instructions and Guidelines:

simply click on the "Post Reply" button on this (or any) post and

let everyone know who and what we are praying for.

Please include as many details as you can provide but

especially the first name of the person we are going to be praying for.

I believe that God plays a role in how we receive our first names and so

it is a slightly more powerful way to pray however

He knows who we are praying for anyway and it's not really necessary.

I will not be pinging individual posts or threads this year but

I will ping the lists occasionally so everyone will be reminded to check the thread.

She is a great person and helped me through the tough times after my wife passed.

I previously asked for prayers in the 2021 prayer thread.

I was diagnosed late last year with advanced stage 4 lung cancer with pleural effusion. Very bad. But as someone who never smoked, the doctors think there is a chance that I may be a candidate for “targeted therapy,” where they devise a treatment that attacks only the cancer cells.

They’ve run tests to find out. I’ll get the results tomorrow. I’ll find out tomorrow what my options and prognosis are.

My first name is David. It would really be nice if I were a candidate for this therapy.

I’d appreciate prayers.

I have a prayer request for my husband, Ken. After surgery he ended up in delirium & is not pulling out of it. He’s 78 & was beginning to experience dementia prior to the surgery. His doctors are now referring him to palliative care & don’t believe that he will have a return of all of his faculties. I believe he’s getting excellent care, but prayers that the Lord touch his mind and give him peace would be appreciated.
