“social justice, solidarity and the construction of the common good”

Hang on, it’s going to be a rough ride.

Pope Francis’ notion of solidarity is exactly inverse to the real meaning. He imagines it means big government controlling everything. Quite the opposite, it is the goal of subsidiarity, the devolution of all power to the smallest conceptually feasible level of hierarchy. Subsidiarity is necessary for solidarity because only at the lowest levels of hierarchy can a decision-maker be one with those affected by his decisions.

He’s trying to desacralize St. Peter’s. It’s going to become what the Europeans call a “cultural center.”

Masses have already been limited to one a day, Novus Ordo only, and the new plan calls for public masses to be only for special events.

This is insane.

Isn't 'Humanism' in complete opposition to the basis of the Catholic church and all Christian, if not all religions?

hu·man·ism /ˈ(h)yo͞oməˌnizəm/ Learn to pronounce noun an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.

Seems to me that there is much too much interest in socialism and tuti fruityism in the Catholic church today and not enough GOD!
