Only the Father knows the time.
I don’t believe so. I think you can get as many people as possible interested in it, but we are all on God’s timeline.
Hard to fool someone that is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. He already knows the date, no matter what we do.
Since no man knows the time, I keep saying that tomorrow is the day, and boom, God cannot allow Jesus to come again... postponing Armageddon. You’re welcome world.
Boom.
Good post boatbums-
And a wonderful bio as well!
No.
Help Jesse De Plantis buy the jet he wants?
Spread the Good News while we wait.
They might make Him wear a mask.
Of course I'm retired now and more time to spend with the Lord and study. I think when my sister went to be with the Lord a few weeks ago I knew the Joy unspeakable as she was released from her suffering to be with Jesus at last. Although I knew the grief as the day draw to a close the moment the call came she had gone I was sooo Joyful !...unspeakable Joy. Even in the very face of death.
Were I not In Christ Jesus I know I could not have been so elated and joyful. She will not come back but I will go to her and see face to face this same Jesus.
Hallelujah!...Come Lord Jesus!
This makes no sense at all. It is speculative at best. Firstly, the premise is Lord Jesus has no fixed date. Granted. Then, it is surmised that We Humans can in fact influence the date of the second coming of our Lord.
A contradiction. If there is no exact date written in stone how can anything humans do influence a deviation from a date that does not exist?
In order for human behavior to influence the Lord there must be a point in time to be influenced.
Personally, I don’t believe that any human today can influence the Lord God or the Lord Jesus.
You mean immanentize the Eschaton?
The gospel shall be preached in the whole world, “and then shall the end come.”
As Dr. Ralph Winter, of the US Center for World Missions, said famously, "We could fulfill the Great Commission within five years. But American Christians spend more on dog food than on missions."
“See Matt 24:14: The gospel shall be preached in the whole world, “and then shall the end come.” “

Since the barrier so often is in the Bible being untranslated;
and the number of languages into which the Bible is being translated keeps rising,
eventually the Bible shall be available in every language on earth.
Understand that the speed of this task keeps increasing, much as the size of computer capacity. Doubling and doubling.
Wonder how many languages are left at this time.
Whether or not we can, we should evangelize the nations as if we can.
Why would we want to?
