We love to speak Your WORD, to pray Your WORD, to depend on and believe in YOUR WORD. It is our life. So today, we bring before You in prayer this portion: Direct my footsteps according to Your Word; let no sin rule over me. (Psalm 119:133)
First we pray for ourselves Dear Jesus. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting. (Ps. 139:23-24) Dear Jesus, help us to not be afraid or ashamed to open our ways before You. Nothing is hidden from You and there comes a time in our walk with YOU that that actually can bring us comfort and hope. There are things in us that need change and we know we have not the ability or the strength to do it ourselves, or at times even the will. But with YOU all things are possible and made right and holy. So we come and ask YOU to work in our lives so that we may be not only whole for ourselves but a testimony to those who are struggling, or blind to the very sins that rule over each of us. Sins that harm families and friends, neighborhoods and churches, work places and even recreation. LORD, we submit ourselves to YOU.
We Pray for our Nation Dear Jesus. Give us STRENGTH and ZEAL and POWER and STEADFASTNESS to walk according to YOUR WORD, not letting the sins of our Nation’s rulers and their minions rule over us. We are being governed by many foes of the GOSPEL, and many foes of the ONE TRUE GOD. We cannot cave, we cannot comprise, we cannot be silent any longer. Grant us wisdom, opportunity and stamina to do what is right in Your Eyes, and according to Your Ways.
We pray for those in power and authority who are walking in integrity and zeal, who are the true spokesmen for the people. We pray for our doctors and nurses whose hearts are steadfast and committed to LIFE. We pray for our Pastors and Laypeople who are our mighty prayer warriors and great comfort to those who are in such need. Dear LORD JESUS, please hear our prayers, and grant our petitions, for the GLORY OF YOUR GREAT NAME, in which we pray. AMEN.
