Join together with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

FATHER GOD,

Throughout the Bible we read of the mighty exploits of the Bible Greats who put their trust in You. They cried out to You, and You delivered them!

Thank You for revealing that faith comes from hearing the Word of GOD. (Romans 10:17) Grow our faith as we immerse ourselves in Your WORD. May the faith of those who came before us give us courage to stand and believe for things we cannot see.

It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.

It was by faith that the people of Israel marched around Jericho for seven days, and the walls came crashing down.

It was by faith that Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed with the people in her city who refused to obey God. For she had given a friendly welcome to the spies.

It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets. By faith, these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what GOD had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death.

But others were tortured, refusing to turn from GOD in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection. Some were jeered at, and their backs were cut open with whips. Others were chained in prisons. Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated. They were too good for this world, wandering over deserts and mountains, hiding in caves and holes in the ground.

All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that GOD had promised. For GOD had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us. (Hebrews 11:29-40)

Bring to our remembrance that we have within us the HOLY SPIRIT, the RESURRECTION POWER that raised CHRIST from the dead. Through CHRIST You have given us power over Satan and his minions. Because of CHRIST JESUS we can boldly enter Your throne room and lay down our petitions.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on JESUS, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of GOD. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. (Hebrews 12:1-3)

We give thanks for Your only Son JESUS CHRIST Who won the victory!

Thank you....and...Amen and Amen....such a strong reminder when we feel so weak in the face of the Enemy.

But, the Lord has given us this same lesson time and time again over the centuries.

Trust, Trust and Trust.

The thing that is the most confusing to me in this moment of our history is really and truly how Mike Pence could have betrayed us.

He stood up in Washington DC with Franklin Graham and proclaimed who Christ is.

And, Pence’s actions seem to be diametrically opposed to what he publicly expresses re his faith in Christ.

I think that this is true, because Karen Pence’s body language is that of a guilty person.

Think about that.

Karen Pence has dead eyes....her body language is shrunken and full of avoidance.

She never makes eye contact.

Prove me wrong.

Karen knows.

Heavenly Father,

You have asked us to pray for our leaders which as you know is not always uneasy thing when we so disagree with what they’re doing. Never the less we do pray for those in our governing bodies now.

Grant them your wisdom when they cannot find it in themselves, assist them to make decisions that are within your will and purposes for this country and it’s people. Distract them when they have evil intentions and replace those who would do us harm....

We know we are not deserving of how good you continue to be for us and for that we are so grateful for your love and care despite the world’s trajectory at this time. May your name always be praised, high and lifted up despite our circumstances.

FATHER, we are hurting and in pain. Just this
morning it was read there is a time for anger.
We pray the anger felt will be used for good, will
be helpful in attempting to rejuvenate what was
once our America. We pray for Your Blessings and
Grace.
We pray for this nation.

Thank You for all, including the lessons You teach.
