Like the totalitarian left is moving to take over the USA right now, the perverts are trying to wrest control of the Catholic Church. Both are doing it with lies and phony social theories.

It’s nothing more than a vicious power grab by evil monsters... the agents of Lucifer.

The left gave up trying to eliminate the church long ago. It decided instead to turn the church into a gay-friendly, marxist-loving institution of atheism.

Excuse me for trying to understand what has happened. Has Pope Francis banned the Latin Mass from being celebrated worldwide?

Or is he gradually tightening the ability of priests to celebrate the Latin Mass by requiring more difficult permission and approval by local bishops?

I think that this is going to be a good rule of thumb going forward: the gayer the bishop, the more likely he is to jump aboard Bergoglio’s suppression of the TLM. From what I’ve seen over the past few days, Bergoglio’s cheerleaders among the gay Catholic commentariat are unbridled in their enthusiasm for the new motu proprio. It’s quite revealing, and it makes a certain amount of sense. The TLM and its associated spirituality and conservative attendees are an obstacle to the homosexual agenda within the Church. Moreover, it goes along with their general iconoclasm: if Bergoglio is powerful enough to send the venerable Latin Mass to the trash heap, then he can do anything... including scrapping those pesky old prohibitions on sodomy.

I bet the CCP approved bishops in China don’t promote the gay thing.

Am I biased and overwrought, or does everything - religion, society, economics, government, politics - seem to all be converging on some unsustainable, explosive, satanic end-point?

The Church of Rome has always been Satan’s greatest work of deception. Even more so than Islam.

You may already know that it’s all discussed in the Bible, in the book of Revelations. Not an easy read but certainly a worthwhile one.

Excuse me for trying to understand what has happened.

Francis has not banned it. That would simply be too autocratic and extreme. You can read his "motu proprio" below

APOSTOLIC LETTER ISSUED "MOTU PROPRIO"

He is taking the standard Leftist bureaucrat approach. His decree could be straight out of the US Federal Register - is some social issue or civil activity too free, not politically correct, or a governance risk?

First manufacture the narrative and the false "problem." Then tie it down with chains of regulation, conditions of use, and needs for bureaucratic approval.

Glad I decided to stick with God and leave the Catholic Church years ago when they covered up the sexual predation of minors.

I’m not aware of a Church of Rome.

I’m aware of the Church, the only church, founded by Jesus Christ, however.

I read a while back about a priest who had to be rebaptized and reordained because it was discovered that he hadn’t been the baptized properly. The officiant said “we baptize you” instead of “I baptize you.”

These people scrap the Creed and do heaven knows what else, and this bishop accepts that as a valid Mass? Perverse.

Seems as if they have chosen sides. Tisha B’Av is tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what happens.

My reading of that document:
With the permission of the bishop and adhering to conditions established in the document, those who have celebrated the Latin Mass can continue to do so. However,
§ 6. to take care not to authorize the establishment of new groups.

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them... Matt 18:20 KJV

I have never deemed it necessary to go beyond this reassurance to worship the Lord. Apparently, my Lutheran catechesis was not sufficient to bring me into frequent contact with larger groups and the likes of Bishop Lang etc..

In other news, this bishop announced that he will be selling plenary indulgences soon. “We feel there is an under-served market of souls crying out for temporal relief and we have just the product to meet that need.”
