Matthew 25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them...
Jesus Christ gave us His Olivet Discourse to explain the signs signalling his immanent return. He warned that we will not know the day or the hour of His return, however we will know the general time (Matt 24:33). He likens those who hear him to young brides waiting for their bridegroom. Jesus being he bridegroom and his believers being the ladies in waiting. This exclusive group is made up only of those who have confessed Christ and go out expectantly to meet him. [...] We are the virgins…
2 Corinthians 11:2 "…for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."
Who are these believers in Jesus Christ? Muslims, who reject the biblical Jesus as God in the flesh, and relegate him to a prophet who exchanged places with Judas on the cross? Hindus, who believe Jesus is one of many gods? Buddhists, who believe Jesus is one of many prophets of Nirvana, or Nothingness? Atheists, who claim that Jesus Christ is either fictional or a lunatic? Heavens no! Most of the world rejects Jesus Christ and his words, except Christians.
Something happens as the Christians wait for the Bridegroom. He delays his coming. So much so that the night comes. What is the night? The “night” in Biblical Typology represents the Great Tribulation (1 Thessalonians 5:2, Isaiah 60:2, John 9, etc.) This is the last 3.5 to 7 years before Jesus Christ returns physically to rule and reign from Jerusalem...

“ However, the millions of Russian, Chinese, Asian, Arab and African believers who died over the last 100 years and are still facing persecution today because they believe in Christ are never mentioned by those preaching this doctrine.”
Only liberals have to detail skin pigment levels or race.
The Rapture of the Church takes all living believers who are saved - of every tribe, tongue, and nation.
There’s a difference between those who call themselves Christians and those who are.
No born again believer is going to be left behind in the rapture..
That is what this article says!
No sir. Those are not Christians. They are professing lost people. Fakes. Goats.
There is only Christian, without caveat. A little Christ. Those that choose to be like Christ. All others are fake.
I was replying to your comment in post 20.....
“ There are many Christians. Cultural Christians, baby Baptism Christians, ana baptist Christians, Christian Scientists, Born Again Christians, etc...”
You say they are Christians.
No they are not.
Ping for coming back later to see what a mess this will end up.
Sorry “doc” but you’re incorrect!
The Apostle Paul wrote about it. Jesus talked about it.
Cyprian, Tertullian, Ephraim of Assyria, Irenaeus among others all wrote about and believed in The Harpazo as well.
The word “Rapture” is in the Bible as well - in the Latin version.
100% truth!
Nobody who is truly saved by THE BLOOD OF CHRIST will miss the Rapture.
The point of this parable is to show that just because you profess and start off with Jesus, doesn’t mean you will end up with Jesus. They started off looking for the Bridegroom. They had their lamp (Bible) and oil (spirit). But something happened between the time they “prayed the prayer” and Jesus coming...
My sodomite “christian” uncle will miss the rapture.
Just sayin....
They would be listed as COVID deaths.
Still not Biblical. There are one hundred verses about the Second Coming and thirty verses used to prove this Rapture thing; those thirty verses are within the hundred that describe the Second Coming - you have the Second Coming verses followed by those Rapture verses. It does not make logical sense.
PS: With this Rapture thing you have two Second Comings.
The Rapture is Christ meeting believers in the air - not on earth, as at the second coming.
Rev 3:10. Dan 12:1-2. 1 These 4:16-18
So He’s coming twice? That’s two comings. Again, Acts chapter 1 vs 9-13
1 Thessalonians. 4: 16-18. (sorry to repeat, would not accept abbreviation on original post.
