Thread Instructions and Guidelines:
I believe that God wants us to know how much He Loves us and desires to hear our personal prayers so in His Kindness and Mercy grants our humble requests, not always but often in the exact manner we expect and so I think it’s very important for the people that pray to learn of how their prayers are answered.
To post a prayer request on this thread simply click on the "Post Reply" button on this post and let everyone know who and what we are praying for. Those that check this thread regularly will see your post. When I see it I will ping my FRiends and Family prayer warrior list (everyone that posts replies to this and previous threads) with a link to reply to your reply post number. There are now over 300 FReepers that will be notified. I try to ping any update reply posts you provide but PM me if I miss it. I will not ping any FReepers that have specifically requested to be excluded from prayer pings.
* ADVANCED FReepers, please post prayer requests in BOLD and leave replies in normal text so I can spot them scrolling through the thread
If your prayer request is of especially critical and urgent nature and there is still time for a miracle, Please create a separate thread (*I can't really do this for you). Then I will ping my very low volume urgent ping list that is almost 1500 prayer warrior FReepers. * If you really need me to post a thread for you, just PM me with as many details as you can provide but especially the first name of the person we are going to be praying for. I believe that God plays a role in how we receive our first names and so it is a slightly more powerful way to pray however He knows who we are praying for anyway and is not really necessary. Please try to make at least one post to the thread so I can direct poster's replies to you. If you want to remain anonymous I will gladly honor your request.
If you want to be on one(or both) of my prayer ping lists simply post a reply on one of the threads and you will eventually land on the list but I can manually add you anytime if you PM me. My apologies in advance if you get pinged by accident a few times. I'll do my best to get you completely removed from the list as soon as possible.

*If I post the new thread for you then often FReepers mistake me for the original requester and I will get all the prayer replies. With a new separate thread you will be able to post updates and reply to FReepers on the new thread also I can easily make a custom ping list for your new separate thread. It's really very easy see the instructions below.

No, this is not his first. Had the right one done a number of years ago. I have had both of mine done. So now we are 4 for 4. :)

Wow - the idea of waiting never occurred to me. I thought it was like tires — when you replace one you should replace the whole set :)
Mrs. FD will probably do the same in a few years. We are in our our 60s.

They weren’t ready at the same time.
In my case, the cataract in my right eye was much worse than the one in my left, so that one was done about 3 years before the other needed the work.
Isn’t it a blessing that we can have this work done now? Years ago, people just went blind or nearly blind.

An update and prayer request.
My daughter had her CT/ultrasound followup and visit with her doctor. He is very happy with her healing and blood flow after her bypass and stent. We are so relieved because she is still dealing with a lot of chest pain. He wants her to follow up with a specialist/cardiologist to talk about her heart rhythm issue.
My son had his followup and he is doing well since his surgery. They can talk about removing the bar in two years if no problems arise.
My husband was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in several places, which has caused him so many problems since some incidents when he was in the army. It has taken forever to get a diagnosis. They’ve done several injections already and will be deciding in a month or so whether to do something else or surgery to correct it.
I haven’t been feeling too well the last four months so I have an appt next week with my doctor. My neck and throat hurt all over and need help with my meds, which are making me feel worse.
My husband had a job interview last week for a better position, twice the pay and it would mean a move. I have been sick since we moved here almost seven years ago, so we are looking to move either way. His interview was supposed to last twenty minutes and it ended up being two hours. They seem very interested in him.
Prayers would be very much appreciated for better health, better job and better place to live. We have all been through so much hell for too long and want for things to get better.

please pray for my dear, wonderful, God loving, family loving and country loving brother who is fighting the battle of his lifetime with covid pneumonia....has a trach and feeding tube...he’s a youngish 65 with no comorbidities. He’s got a long rode ahead of him, but with prayers, he can do it....
