This video features Charlie Shamp, a Christian who has some reputation as a prophet. He posted the video to youtube on the Wedenesday after election day. In this presentation Charlie Shamp goes on record with the claim that God revealed to him that the 2020 presidential contest will eventually result in Donald Trump being elected for a second term. Charlie Shamp says that the ultimate theme of various prophetic revelations over several years is that the election will hinge upon corruption in Philadelphia, which will result in the Supreme Court determining that President Trump is the winner of the election.
On a broader scale, Charlie Shamp is prophesying that the United States is going to see a third Great Awakening. The qualification to all this good stuff, as Shamp presents it, is that the church of the United States must pray aggressively during the weeks leading up to the January inauguration, in order that all that the Lord has promised should come to pass.
But we elect those to administer the state and federal government for us. We are their boss/employer and we can remove/replace them for malfeasance in office.

I'm also praying that God will reveal to all black-hat actors in this thing that the power they so desperately seek in this lifetime will be worth absolutely nothing once they've drawn their last mortal breath; that He is, and that He desires they should be redeemed to Him through His risen Son.

Call me conflicted. I’m very uncomfortable with anyone who calls himself or herself a “prophet”, or says “God told me this” or “The Lord told me that”. HOWEVER, the Bible also says (I think in Revelation) that in the last days, God will pour out His spirit on the world, and that “your sons and your daughters will prophesy”. And a great many people, including a ton of Freepers, have had dreams, premonitions, etc.
I think the poster who gave the Biblical standard for a true prophet as 100% accuracy is correct. Let’s wait & see if Shamp’s predicions come to pass exactly as stated.

Thank you. It is reassuring to me many are spending their time on God’s word and Biblical topics. Disappointing- this forum has a number of those that do not believe or are lukewarm at best. Intense prayer is required during these times, those doubting the power of prayer doubt the power of God himself....brings to mind the message to depart, for I do not know you.

I want to share something that has been on my mind for the last few days.
It is the result of something that came to me in a dream the other night probably after being disturbed by President Trump's statement, " he will leave the White House if Electoral College votes for Biden."
The thought occurred of fasting and praying before the 14th of December when the Electoral College meets and votes based on many stories in the Bible. One is when Ester sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go and assemble all the Jews who can be found in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day, and I and my maidens will fast as you do."
So I think that is what I will do before the 14th of December.
What I'm still undecided about is how long I should fast and pray. Many call for three days when this sort of thing comes up, but after checking the calendar, the Jewish Hanuka begins four days prior to December 14 in 2020.
Is this too much of a coincidence to be an accident? Is God saying I need to fast and pray for four days here? Yeshua spent 40 days and night fasting in the wilderness - ten times what I will be doing.
While researching the significance of the number four in scripture, I was led to Palms, chapter107, which contains the statement: "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!", four times.
I believe there is something significant here. The chapter really speaks to our current situation:

1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

There's a lot to chew on here, for sure. With regard to those today who call themselves prophets and apostles, for example, who is the commissioning agent? God? Another person? I would be extremely cautious about publicly calling myself one or the other without some serious confirmation from what I was 100% sure to be the Lord. FWIW, I actually know a guy who professes to walk in the office of prophet. And as far as I can tell, he's not wrong. Healing, words of knowledge, strict standards for purity in the body. He fits the bill.

Hmm, the Electoral College does meet at the mid-point of the Feast of Rededication.
Let’s arise and re-dedicate ourselves. Prayer, fasting, abstinence, courage. May God move the scales of Justice as He wills.
He’s not the only one who calls himself a prophet who has predicted this.
Time will tell and I’m hoping so, although I expect all hell to break loose when he does.
But God has already answered a lot of prayer by turning other elections away from the democrats and having pro-life and pro-constitution politicians elected and those who do evil removed.
And all that would be for nothing if Trump is not inaugurated. So here’s hoping that Trump is in and we can prove ourselves worthy of this one last chance God is hopefully giving us.
When the democrat party and their international and business co-conspirators conspire to falsify the vote, we are no longer "their bosses". We are seeing treason being displayed by those who have nothing but disdain for our republican form of government. Our government institutions have failed us so far and/or they have been complicit in the conspiracy.
Unless we see our governmnet institutions (AG, FBI, SCOTUS, Congress, State Houses, State AGs) begin to stand against the coup - the only recourse to regaining freedom will be an armed conflict against our corrupt government and those pulling its strings.
But G-d and Yeshua have nothing to do with electing our leaders; maybe in centuries past He may have “appointed” leaders although I doubt even that ever happened.

Thanks for the reflections. Your approach is a wise and humble one. Somewhere in my internet wanderings in the past few weeks, I came across someone who was going to fast for forty days, siting the Festival of Rededication as their motivation. All this that is going on around us combines to convict me that a fast is in order. I think your post was what I needed in order to push me over into offensive action via a fast. Will revisit this thread with a final decision, probably to fast final three or four days leading to December 14.
