Be convinced with these 4 biblical truths: 1. Each of us has sinned; 2. God is just, requiring a punishment for sin; 3. But out of love God sent His Son, Jesus Christ who by dying on the cross, provided forgiveness of sins in taking mans deserved punishment; 4. Therefore, by faith alone in Christs sacrifice for our sins and belief in His resurrection, man can gain eternal life. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, Romans 3:21-26) Read more at https://teleiosresearch.com/salvation-explanation/.
Really??
I guess ol' Satan had it easy until the rosary was invented.
www.theirishstore.com blog story-behind-catholic-rosary-beads
1. There is NO proof that this WAS the real mother of JESUS.
2. All the 'promises' are directed toward 'HER'; not Jesus.
3. Which one(s) of the 15 do this?? (Her promises that our prayers will draw us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ and to help us do His will.
And Satan repeated Scripture; too.
I thought we ALL knew this?
Spanish speakers sure do: Sabado = Saturday
Nobody keeps the law of God...That’s why Jesus died on the Cross...Because no one could...
Your statement is Satanic and pure idiocy.
Romans 2
12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
As an example, I wonder how many men and women, who were tempted to commit adultry, prayed to God to give them the power to resist the temptation, and not break his law?
It reads the texts in context. Not a hasty glancing. Read what you have referred to in depth. " nailing it to his cross; " The ceremonies and ordinances were nailed to the cross. It's difficult to nail stone tablets to a cross.
" Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:" Then, as now, there were holidays (where we get holy days). The emperor may declare one. You may celebrate Christmas (or not) Nobody judges. Read Lev. 23:24, 27. 32 for ADDITIONAL ceremonial sabbaths also verses 37,38
The ordinances were to direct the peoples attention to the coming Messiah. They expired on the cross. The Sabbath of the Lord in the TEN (count them) Commandments commemorates Creation. That is when it was instituted. It is for all time and for all of mankind.
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Col 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
This was also thoroughly discussed. Paul is referring to the ceremonial law, which pointed toward Christ, WHICH WERE A SHADOW OF THINGS TO COME. As a reference see Ezekiel 45:17, which references the CEREMONIAL LAW and uses almost the EXACT LANGUAGE of Col 2:16. Here it is:
17: And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meat offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel.
The Sabbaths referred to are CEREMONIAL SABBATHS, not the 7th day Sabbath. Here they are for you with the article I am quoting from: http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/shadow.htm
In brief, these were the yearly ceremonial days observed and associated sabbaths.
Spring Calendar:
Passover, The crucifixion, Jesus is God’s Passover Lamb. (14 Nisan, not a Sabbath)
Feast of Unleavened Bread (Pilgrimage to Jerusalem required for all men.) Putting away sin from one’s life.
Sabbath of 15 Nisan, 1st day of the feast.
The Omer, first fruits of the barley harvest, 16 Nisan. Resurrection.
Sabbath of 21 Nisan, 7th and last day of the feast.
Feast of Weeks - Pentecost, a sabbath day 50 days after the Omer (Pilgrimage to Jerusalem required for all men.) Firstfruits of the wheat harvest. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
Fall Calendar:
Trumpets, Sabbath of 1 Tishri, Announcement of impending judgment.
Day of Atonement, Sabbath of 10 Tishri, The pre-Advent Judgment.
Feast of Tabernacles (Pilgrimage to Jerusalem required for all men.) The ingathering of God’s people - the second coming.
Sabbath of 15 Tishri, 1st day of Tabernacles, freed from the bondage of sin.
Sabbath of 22 Tishri, 8th and last day of Tabernacles.
Prior to the incarnation of Jesus and his crucifixion, all the above festivals awaited their fulfillment. They were what are called “types”. They were symbolic of specific events yet to come. The event that is foretold is referred to as the “antitype”. In the New Testament, the Greek words corresponding to type and antitype are:
G5179. tupos, too’-pos; from G5180; a die (as struck), i.e. (by impl.) a stamp or scar; by anal. a shape, i.e. a statue, (fig.) style or resemblance; spec. a sampler (”type”), i.e. a model (for imitation) or instance (for warning):—en- (ex-) ample, fashion, figure, form, manner, pattern, print.
G499. antitupon, an-teet’-oo-pon; neut. of a comp. of G473 and G5179; corresponding [”antitype”], i.e. a representative, counterpart:—(like) figure (whereunto).
The “shadow” or “type” itself had no substance, but rather pointed to a future event that would have substance, the “antitype”. For example, slaying the Passover lamb is the type, the crucifixion of Jesus is the antitype.
Clearly; since the “law” had NOT been codified and written down; the only ‘law’ that can be seen before Abraham is the NOAHIDE ones.

You really should read the whole Bible some time.
I suspect you will be shocked at how much of what you claim, never appears inside it.
Ive also linked to articles that you all have refused to read.
Mostly SDA and theologically false.
Are you seriously telling me that Paul didnt keep the Sabbath in Jail?
............................
What evidence do you bring forth to support this claim?
What evidence do you bring forth to support the claim that he didn’t? Right, you have none. My evidence is that the bible is clear that he otherwise did keep the sabbath, JUST LIKE JESUS DID:
Paul in Thessalonica
When he traveled to Thessalonica and learned there was a synagogue there, Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ (Acts 17:2-3). Note that Paul had the same custom as Jesus when it came to keeping the Sabbath (compare with Luke 4:16).
Paul in Corinth
When Paul came to Corinth, Luke records that Paul reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks (Acts 18:4).
Again, we see that Pauls habit was to observe the Sabbath by going to the synagogue every Sabbath. He told the Corinthians to imitate or follow his actions, including keeping the Sabbath, just as he imitated or followed Christs (1 Corinthians 11:1). Paul did not have a different form of Christianity than the one taught and practiced by Christ.
Paul in Antioch, again preaching to gentiles on the Sabbath
When gentiles in Antioch wanted to hear Gods Word preached to them, Paul preached to them the next Sabbath.
So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation has broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God (Acts 13:42-44).
Had Sabbath-keeping no longer been Gods expectation of gentiles, Paul could have simply told them that he would preach to them the next day rather than the next Sabbath.
Gentiles praised for being imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea
In writing to the church at Thessalonica, Paul praised the members of this largely gentile congregation (1 Thessalonians 1:9) for being examples to all in Macedonia and Achaia who believe. For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything (verses 7-8).
So did this largely gentile congregation in Thessalonica that set the example for all the other congregations that were being established abandon the Sabbath, or did it follow the example of the Sabbath-keeping congregations comprised primarily of Jews in Judea? Paul answers this question saying, For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 2:14).
The churcheswhether made up of Jews or gentilesthat were established by Pauls teaching observed the Sabbath. The scriptural record shows that Paul personally kept the seventh-day Sabbath and that he taught the gentiles to do the same.

So you keep saying and yet you still never read anything I link to, SO HOW WOULD YOU KNOW?
I did read the first one carefully.
It was SDA. It was false.
Every time you continue to outsource the discussion to more SDA heresy, I pass.
And so much of what you posted on these threads is simply false - repeated a lot.
What evidence do you bring forth to support this claim?
.............
Gods inspired declaration, through the pen of Paul, that the things you flack endlessly and judge others for not keeping, are shadows of a spiritual truth for believers in Christ.
This was written in response to the legalists, such as your religion, who snuck in and tried to impose these Jewish requirements on Christians.
Paul rejected their (and SDA) legalism entirely.
Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or ***a Sabbath day*** -
things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
- Apostle Paul, Colossians 2:16,17
.....
The believing Gentiles in Colossae never were under the Law of Moses since that Law was given only to Israel (Rom. 9:4).
Never to the church.
Christs church age, is not the extension of Judaism; but, Judaism was a mere shadow of the present age projected into the past.
So following Gods declaration through Pauls inspired scripture, I thoroughly reject your purported judgment on His Church and on believers.
What, you think the rest of us don't have a bible and we have to rely and trust on what you give us??? So what do you do, pick the scriptures you like and throw the rest away???
Rom 3:21 But now
the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Every thing changed at that 'But Now'...
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
You don't see these two verses as a little contradictory???
The poster is completely clueless as to what being born again is about. Sadly, too many will die believing they have helped enough to spend a short visit to the mythical Catholic lie of purgatory.

God’s eternal 10 commandment law is not ceremonial. And, if you don’t keep them and yet say you are a follower of Christ, you are a liar and the truth is not in you. Liars will not be in heaven.
1 John 2:
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
So anyone who says you can’t keep God’s commandments, is a liar (iscool, are you listening?)

Then I guess you are not under the new covenant and you are not Abraham’s seed and heir according to the promise. Too bad for you.
