So you allow an exception for children to call their Dad as Father, but you want to disallow St Paul, St Peter and St John and Catholic priests of being spiritual fathers to the followers of Christ in the Catholic Church. “For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel” (1 Cor. 4:14–15).

If you claim to be Protestant, and acknowledge that the Bible is your only ruler of truth, then on what basis do you worship on Sunday? You have only the Tradition of the Catholic Church, and it’s claim of authority to change the laws of God to rest your case on. In spite of your claim of Protestantism, you are casting aside the only day the Bible sanctifies in perpetuity by the Word of God and you are replacing it with a day authorized ONLY by the word of Roman Catholic Tradition. If you hallow Sunday, then you are essentially Catholic on that matter, not a “Bible Only” Protestant.

Romans 14 and Galatians, especially 4:9-11.

We are not under the Law because in Christ, the Law is perfectly fulfilled in us. Our not keeping it cannot affect our salvation because the righteousness of Christ is credited to us and we are dead to the Law in Him.

Nothing we do or don’t do affects our salvation.

So anyone who says faith in Christ saves but if you violate a specific law, you are going to hell , is speaking out of both sides of their mouth. They cannot both be true.

And the person is depending on Law keeping to save them and keep them saved, instead of Christ is going to be in for a big surprise when they are judged by the very Law they are depending on.

I still think that if someone were really serious about keeping the Sabbath, they wouldn’t be posting on FR on the day they are supposed to have set aside for worshipping God.

Additionally, claiming not worshiping on the Sabbath is the mark of the beast is in direct contradiction to what Scripture says it is. Somehow, I can’t quite figure out how not worshiping on the Sabbath can be translated into a mark on the hand or forehead that is required for economic transactions.

Making that connection requires a staggering amount of brainwashing to reconcile those two.

Are you seriously telling me that Paul didn’t keep the Sabbath in Jail? Whoever said you have to attend any church or synagogue to keep the Sabbath? The commandment says REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, KEEP IT HOLY, AND DON’T WORK. I don’t see anywhere in the 4th commandment where church attendance is mandatory, even though I suggest it to get the full experience and share the day with like believers, JUST LIKE WE WILL ALL BE DOING IN HEAVEN, BTW...
