FReeper(InFool7(Me) - Patrick) initial prayer request:Thank you everyone for your continued prayers for our family, they have brought much comfort and peace as we endure this difficult trial. Bill has been courageously fighting esophageal cancer since 2015. He died peacefully at 3:40 pm (The Hour of Mercy) yesterday on the 24th. Services will be held in Deerfield on December 5th. Please continue to pray for our family, though this was somewhat expected his rapid decline caught us all off guard.
Praying for all those battling cancer and those that have lost loved ones over these Holidays

Condolences to you and yours on the death of Bill. He fought the good fight, he ran the good race. Now he has crossed the finish line, and has won his reward...Eternal Life in the presence of Christ Our Lord.

Bill, or William was my only brother's name as well. He was named after our paternal grandfather that none of us kids ever knew. I named my oldest son after my brother because he was in Vietnam at the time, and none of us knew if he'd ever make it back home. He did, but only lived to the age of 51. He'd be 76 had he lived.
