....The vast majority of popular churches teach that believers will be called up to Heaven before the tribulation. Simply stated, the Bible does not support this claim.
...
In many scriptures of the Bible, there is a falling away or discussion of great deceptions that are coming to the world. It has been hard for believers in Christ to comprehend the possibility of the masses falling away from Christianity because faith has been a powerful part of society for nearly two millenniums, but we are seeing it today. Moreover, we are seeing the spreading of a seed that will cause further apostasy among believers in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior: the myth of a pre-tribulation rapture.
The not-so-simple answer is that Satan is pushing this as part of his agenda. It is Satan that rules the earth. His goal is to pull as many people away from the faith as possible, which is why he and his minions began deceiving Christians at their core starting in the early 19th century with the doctrine of a pre-tribulation rapture. He has brought about and continues to bring about waves of deceptions to pull people away from even considering the Word of the Bible, but this particular deception is to attack those who are wanting to be strong in their faith. Its designed to shake the spirits of the believers to the point of non-belief.
Think about it. If you make people believe that they are not going to face suffering, that they are special and will avoid all of the troubles that will engulf the world, then they are weakened as a result.

Not resorting to fluff. I was pointing out there is no way you know what Paul thought other than is written and what is written is open to interpretation . Yours is not the only one.
The Rapture will take place just after the last moment that the last person will be saved during the Age of Grace.. Most of the people alive in the world will not be souls generated by a new birth.
Your opinion, not mine.
The Tribulation period is about Israel and putting an end to sin in Israel
The focal point for the events is Jerusalem
The evangelizing will be done by Jews during the Tribulation
The Holy Spirit is in the believers during the Ekkelsia Age, so the human spirit of the believer is already IN ETERNAL LIFE, thus the wrath of God will be poured out on the earth dwellers, to bring any who will then call upon the Lord, to Heaven, away from the wrath
The scriptures / Word of God tells us Believers during the Church Age are not appointed to wrath, and Paul makes it plain that it is Jesus Who rescues us from The Wrath to Come
The Believers are the Bride of Christ and are shown returning from Heaven WITH JESUS as He descends the Conquering King Messiah, so the removal to Heaven and the Bema Judgment done there and the wedding to The Lord Christ have already occurred, somewhere not on this Earth
Paul shows us that the revealing of the man of sin cannot happen so long as 'the restrainer' is present on the Earth; the restrainer is The Indewlling Holy Spirit, indwelling the Believers, thus they must be removed with the seals they have, so the evil one can be revealed. Just as the Angel could not destroy Sodom until the righteous were removed, so the destruction during the Tribulation cannot begin until the Righteousness of Christ is removed as in the Body of ALL believrs.
Now that should make your dark heart happy, for there is much for you to twist and deny!
The poster of the thread is a Roman Catholic. I could care less what is the religion of the author of the piece.
#OKCRONOS
No, it is not. It is a site that really covers the subject well and I like to point people to it when the subject comes up.
I do the same with freerepublic when people are discussing politics on other sites. When I find a good site, I like to direct people to it when it is relevant to do so.
I'd call that: "majoring on the majors"
That's Second Coming!
What opinion? That Cronos fibs? It is a fact that the destruction of the Temple was under Vespasian, not Nero.
The reply was to Cronos, but only to you as the one he is misleading. In fact, The churches were suffering under the Caesars, but by the time John recorded Jesus' revelation, Nero was long dead. Look it up in history. Don't ask Cronos. His stories are lies, mostly.
You're the one who can't cite authority for discerning that which you deem "open to interpretation".
There is no Rapture, there is only the Second coming.
I fear that Cronos just loves to argue. He is wrong but just won’t be persuaded.
Proverbs 26:4 and 26:5: Talks about folks like Cronos:
Do not answer a fool according to his folly,
Or you will also be like him.
Answer a fool as his folly deserves,
That he not be wise in his own eyes.
His command in the form of a voice of the Archangel and the trumpet of God will resonate ONLY with those spirits in whom is the indwelling Holy Spirit seal (possibly the sound of all the names in all the different languages for the dead in Christ and the alive in Christ will sound like a trumpet blast).
In 1 Thess 4:13-17 we are given a written snapshot of the event of the Rapture. The energy with which God makes the instantaneous transformations may come from the old fleshly bodies, but such would be the case for those who are alive, since the dead in Christ returning with Jesus from Heaven may have their bodies already turned to mere dust/atomic dust.
Those Raptured will have real physical bodies, but bodies existing in a different spacetime coordinate system than we sense now. That such a realm exists is attested by the scene in Daniel 5, with the unseen being in another coordinate system reaching into the realm of palace party central to writ e upon the wall.
ALL coordinate systems of space and time exist IN the Universe God has created. Anything that exists in The Universe God has created, has some aspects of space and time, for without time events do not occur, and without space a thing does not exist in the Universe God has created.

Against Heresies is significantly referenced in several of these and there is no discussion of a "Rapture" event. Isolating a word that may correlate to the term is NOT a validation of the event you describe.
This guy is just sowing division among the brethren. It’s too bad. I’m putting him on every prayer chain I can find.
To study Church History is to be Catholic.
As do Psalm 26 four and five. I am standing in opposition to lies about what The Word declares. Thank you for you assistance/instruction.
Can I ask you kindly not to post to me any more please. Thank-you.
